Xbow needs a buff

Call me crazy but it does. These are not worth the weight they pull in wars.

There are 3 primary strengths to the Xbow:

1) Range

2) high health

3) rate of fire resulting in very low over DPS

My suggestion, increase the range "both" mode to be equal to ground only mode. Then increase ground only mode by the same amount.

lets face it, currently in both mode a lvl1 xbow has the same range as a archer tower but more weight and 50% less dps than a max archer tower in th9. There is something fundamentally flawed in this.

3mil gold and 7 days build time for 50 DPS...maybe buff only level 1 I guess like add a bit more dps or lower cost or build time

Like you said X-bow has pretty high health which means it is harder to destroy than an archer tower...which is a big big plus IMO

By your logic:
Hogs L1-3 need buff
Giants 1-5 need buff
Loons 1-5 need buff
Golems 1-3 need buff...


Just because something's "true potential" isn't unlocked with the first build or upgrade, doesn't mean it's flawed. Just upgrade it. War weight? Sounds like you built xbows before your war troops were upgraded at TH9.

Xbow is a very tanky defence though. And it has rapid fire.
