it's impossible to lose trophy on defense and not gain shield at the same time, provide some screenshot for evidence.

Is your town hall adequately protected? 24% damage to get to your town hall sounds like some rubbish base design mate coupled with poorly upgraded defenses. You should post a screen shot so we can help.

oh yeah i forgot about that rule, if the attacker don't use at least 1/3 of your total troop capacity, you don't get shield regardless how much damage has been done.
the fact that your base can be destroyed with so little army indicates that your defense is horrible beyond believe, probably a defenseless base. start improving your base.

It is possible if the .... put his th near the edge, and got it covered with several def.
The attacker will get the th with around 20% destruction and call it a quit. That means 1star losses and no shield.
