Should I upgrade to TH8?

I am barely surviving in TH7, and I am totally maxed now. Should I upgrade to TH8? I am thinking of holding back till SC does something about the loot, but I don't know. I do want to upgrade and upgrade my BK further, but I am afraid I won't find enough loot as most of my loot is from TH6/TH5 full collector dead bases, and at TH8, TH6 will be worth 50% instead of 90% and TH5 will be worth 25% instead of 50%.

And then there aren't any TH7 bases that provide loot from collectors. So what should I do? Is it better for me to upgrade or wait for SC to do something about the issue?

I have three accounts -- TH 7, 8 and 9. TH 8 seems to be the most vulnerable under the current rules but that is just my experience, I'm sure others will have other input. I do think it's worth upgrading -- TH 9 is pretty rewarding in a number of ways (ie. a lot of room to expand, nice upgrades available, and you stay out of the really tough competition) Of course, no perks in any TH level will last forever once you max things out but I quite like TH 9. TH 7 and 8 are frustrating due to vulnerability and lack of very strong heroes. (Those heroes make raiding quite a bit more fun) I'm currently upgrading my TH 8 to 9 and I"ll stay there until maxed out. My TH 7 will do for now and my TH 9 I'll stay at that for now. It's just too frustrating to try to upgrade to those high loot requirements needed for TH 10 upgrades if you don't buy gems.

Th 8 loot is amazing. Upgrade. It's th 9 and up that have the issues. Btw I'm th 10 and 8

it depends, TH 8 have totally different gameplay than lower TH, this is where do you really like the game or hate it since you will experience different strategy especially if you are in a war clan

my advice is use all resources when you finish upgrading TH for anything preferably high cost building (wall, spell factory, barracks etc) because you will be vulnerable for several weeks

use barch in silver league to loot, there's ton of base especially TH 9-10 that have good loot when they are asleep or inactive just be patience

If u think th 7 is bad just wait till ur th 8 even worse.......

Attack vaults?

Attacking vaults costs a much stronger and more elixir costing army with 1-2 heal spells. And then that can get me to only 1-2 vaults.
