With the new shield system more and more bad attackers are forced to surface and raid for resources instead of hiding behind cheap shields. The end result is people with max defenses or good base designs getting hit for less than 30% destruction. Why punishing someone for having a good base? Ain't got no time to rearm traps and gem up heroes everytime when tards decide to drop all their troops in one spot and then watch them die.
A shield should be given when over 50% of the defender's max camp space is deployed. At least give us some incentives to win a defense, supercell
