I have 40/40 heroes as well, but i still put my de storage in the middle to avoid those gibarch army just looking for DE.

I tried putting not putting my De in the middle and got attacked often, and the nearby storage always gets destroyed and end up losing more than. Thats why i decided to place them in the middle.

There is some merit to this.

Sad but true. There is no point having a strong defense at the moment. It just costs you more and puts you at greater risk of getting no shield.

If we had some kind of defense bonus that would minimise the losses. I really dislike the winning defense = losing thing going on in Clash. Which we all feel more now we don't get those easy hall shields.

strange that this new system which people say is the death of rushing, actually benefits rushers the most

Crystal is too low for a TH11. Go higher and face better attacks and get a shield first attack.
