Thread: Is CoC really any fun? Or do you play because it's by the developers of Boom Beach?

It's still fun enough for me to play. I'm a 'semi serious casual' player, lol, which means I am able to check into the game several times throughout the day and can play for an hour or more on occasion. I have spent under a hundred US funds on gems in the last year and a half but will no longer purchase more, simply because although I like the game I can see how this is an open-ended purchase. I just won't get sucked into the competitive nature of this game by buying gems. If I get routinely pounded or progress extremely slowly, so be it. That said, I don't mind progressing extremely slowly. I am in a strictly social clan, not a war clan, so it doesn't matter.

BB has some components taken from CoC. By components I mean code.

True you can progress much faster in BB, but once you are on top you have nothing to do. Clan wars are the best thing that happened to CoC, sad that BB dev team are not rectifying this and just adding layers and layers of unwanted upgrades.

By playing casually I could reach the last level with maxed offense in a year or so. But I dont see this happening in CoC. Think I will stop @TH9.

Clash of Clans: I have played for more than 2 years now, I still think it is a great game but I hope they will do something about the really bad loot situation.

Boom Beach: I have played it for a year, I don't like getting hammered 4 times a day so I lowered my victory points to 270 I am lvl 48, so that is low and I rarely get attacked, but I never attack anyone, just waiting for the resources to come to me, a rather boring game.

Hay Day: Lots of micro management, you can spend hours producing goods for the city and havest wheat and sell it to get the materials needed to grow your farm.

I like clash of clans the most, but the update changed a lot more than just th snipping, it took the fun out of the game because now all I see is very active maxed th10 bases with a lot of loot in their collectors, before I could have snipped their th, now I just press next ten times as much!

Hope they will do something about the loot situation.
Before the update I could farm 3 hours every afternoon farming for the huge amounts of resources needed for updates, now I do other things and my clan mates do as well, my clan has become boring.
I also played all three and rank Coc the best of the three. Like you I only go to boom beach and collect resources, update and leave.

Hayday was my first of the SC games I played and I enjoyed it a lot. The derbies helped bring on the action but after I started clash of clans, I never even look at Hayday anylonger.

Now the game that I loved the most is slowly dying.

    Bwahahahaha.

Boom Beach takes lots of money to play after a certain lvl. Painfully slow game with less strategy than COC and even fewer ways to play.

This latest update of COC puts it Bummer Beach territory.

    Nuff said.

Some people are not like you and don't follow what is the most popular app, they make their own choices, I looked at the clash app and decided it was ♥♥♥♥, and chose to download the beta of boom instead. I found out later that clash had improved and was worth playing.

Unfortunately some clashers are like you and have their heads buried up their own arses, fortunately most of them have some intelligence and can accept that people have different opinions and therefore enjoy playing something that is totally different, as well as being a good clasher they can be a good boomer.

One being released before the other has no bearing on which is the more superior so wind your neck back up your back side and stop pissing people off.
Mr. iDominate was simply stating that Clash preceded Boom, which was not clear from the grammatical form of the original post. Judging from your rage post, I suspect such subtleties are lost on you.

Try to be nice. Nobody likes the angry guy.

BB at the beginning and mid point is fun and doesn't take too much time to play. At the end it's nolonger fun, you'll won't make do with playing one hour, try 3+ if you want to clear the pvp npcs and resource islands. eventually you'll stop clearing the resource islands over and over again, but you need to clear pvps and npc everyday to get crystals for pp (~3hours during a pp boost) and to maintain your VPs. Yes there is strategy, but It get old very quickly and becomes just a chore that I had to abandon. To give it credit it was fun at the beginning and it distracted me from clash and I do occasionally play now and again.

Clash continues to be fun and has strategy but it's different (obviously) from BB.

I started boom beach about three months after I discovered clash. Also tried out hay day but gave it when I got tired of town visitors asking for stuff that never gets listed in the paper and I cannot locally make
