    Walls are probably the wort thing you can upgrade, if you war. Their weight is massive and you get very very little in return. With 4 eqs so easy to have now, with the extra spell slot, jump etc., what's the point. You will draw in WAY higher bases and it just isn't worth it.

    DONT upgrade walls anymore. Walls are horrible for war matchups. I'm a max th9/new th10 and I get paired up with max th10 and 11 with lvl 7 walls but max defenses. At this point in the game walls are rendered useless with wb, eq, and jump so the incredible extra weight they put on isn't really worth it. (Mine are all lvl 10 btw)

    Are u guys sure walls weight in cw? I feel it is not. My base are max defense with 200 lvl9 wall and50 lvl10walls. Always match up with base with other max defense only. No walls on other side

    Just wait until most lvl 10 walls , that's when the serious weight comes in.

    use 2-3 jumps more and base is literally without walls. at that stage, level 9 or level 11 walls don't matter because you, or enemy will use jump spells anyways.
    For example, 7 golem + 4 jump raid or 3 jump raid depending on the base. even if the defender has lvl 7 walls, the attacker will still use jump spells and not wallbreakers in that army composition.

    yeah the walls look pretty but thats all about it nowadays. its either air attacks, jump spells along eq spells.
    Why anyone would raid with 7 golems is beyond me. The storage cap 3048 for a th9 4025 for a TH 10 and the cost of golems 675x7 (lvl4) 4725 so even with 900 league bonus in m1 you breaking even for an army that takes 2 + hours really

    Well I can tell you in our war clan the guys with maxxed defenses and ♥♥♥♥ walls are the th10s our big dogs 3 star. The maxxed tens with lvl10-11 walls are 60% two stars so I say walls matter. And in raiding I love finding th9s with maxxed defenses and those pretty purple walls.

    walls really don't have much effect as jump spell or earthquake can open up any base layout..if your not skilled to use that than you will have an issue

    Level 9 walls. Beyond that is not worth the asking price. Level 9 because they're only a million each, and they take 3 level 5 wb to smash through them.

    Of course if you have maxed th10 defenses you should have maxed walls or at least level 10( since at that point war weight is out the window). That's not the problem people face. The problem is having lvl 10 walls and lower level defenses and getting paired with people with defenses 2 or 3 levels above yours. In war the are so many strategies that render walls useless that the weight given to them sounds rediculous. Honestly expending and extra wb and using 3 (vs 2 on lvl 8 and below) aren't worth the added weight of lvl 9+walls... In our current war our top th10 are all fresh 10 (our top being two weeks into th10) we all have maxed th9 bases except one. Our oponents are 2 th10 with maxed defenses and lvl 7 walls and a th11 with maxed defenses and an eagle artillery/GW. Do you really think that extra wb it takes for them to get through our walls is really gonna stop maxed troops from th9 defenses? Also try 2 starring a maxed th11/10 with th9 offense...
