    Walls,any point trying to upgrade them anymore?

    Since the update I've not managed to upgrade a single wall,I've 261 level 11 walls to get and simply cannot loot enough to upgrade any anymore so is there any point upgrading anymore if I could get the loot to upgrade any.On my calculations since I'm not maxed at th10 yet and still have defence upgrades to do and a few different troops and spells to upgrade(barbs,drags,jump-all 1 upgrade each left,lightning-2 upgrades)its going to probably take me 130 plus weeks to Max out my walls at 2 walls per week when everything else is complete,and that could be around 6 months before even starting walls again anyway at this rate.so roughly around 3 years to completely Max out my th10 from where I am now after playing for 18 or so months already.lol,that's 4+1/2 years of game time.SC you have royally $¢r£w£d me over!

    Now I have maxed walls but they give us another level of walls then I will never touch it until every other thing I ccan upgrade is upgraded.

    It sure is great psyhological help. I will for sure rather attack th9 with lvl 7 walls than th9 with lvl 9 walls. Th8 looks beastly with lvl 8 walls too. I won't even talk about lvl 11 walls. A lot of people with ground attacks like gowipe probably skip you. It helps.

    if you have max infernos then people dont raid you I sit on loot and only get trophy droppers and my dfense still need 240 mil more gold to finish my defenses at th 10 im doing lvl 10 walls slowly but surely you just might be in the wrong leugue

    Don't upgrade just yet.

    Walls are part of matchmaking computation. My maxed out defense TH9 including walls, heroes both at 20, #1 in a 10/10 war, consisting of 4 th9 and 6 th8, is always matched up with a th10 with maxed defenses, 25+ heroes, level 7 walls.

    I know that's not how matchmaking totally works, but its just to give you an idea.

    With all the troops and spells that circumvent walls they really dont matter as much anymore.... Sure a golem Will pound a lvl 11 Wall slower than a lvl 1. But after skulls they dont matter as much

    Yeah this is not true. Lvl 10/11 walls take 3 maxed wb compared to 2, this is very big if wb fail to break through. Then you have troops attacking walls with either 4500/7000 hp, you tell me that's no difference than skulls.

    Walls are the diff between 49% and 50% imo.

    Xbows,infernos,mortar,tesla, 2 archer towers,2 wizz towers,1 cannon are already maxed at my level,I've level 30 queen and king going to 29 and completely maxed my th9 before making the jump to th10 on defence,walls and lab upgrades apart from taking heroes to 30 each but had to move up to th10 as I had no use for gold or elixir as everything else was done.I've started to push up the leagues and am 30 cups away from crystal 2 but looting is still really poor.I'll push up to masters 1 or even champs but taking into account the loot I'll have to spend up that high on army build and spells I'm suspecting I'll be in the same boat whatever league im in and still not be able to save up enough loot!

    I think most of us are trying to re-evaluate the point of upgrading most things since the update.

    My defenceless account is loving this. I come to the forums more than I do the game. Better entertainment!

    I kind of find walls pointless now. 4 lvl 1 eq spells ruin level 11 walls.
    1 Eq from donation, 1 from the extra slot u have, cook 2 more and u still have space for 4 more normal spells.

    use 2-3 jumps more and base is literally without walls. at that stage, level 9 or level 11 walls don't matter because you, or enemy will use jump spells anyways.
    For example, 7 golem + 4 jump raid or 3 jump raid depending on the base. even if the defender has lvl 7 walls, the attacker will still use jump spells and not wallbreakers in that army composition.

    yeah the walls look pretty but thats all about it nowadays. its either air attacks, jump spells along eq spells.
