Right now we are in a war and enemy number 30 has already attacked me (our clan number 1 base) for 0%. Now they will be trying all kinds of attacks on me before doing the original war attack. This is so frustrating for me but supercell has never addressed this biggest issue of the game even after continuous reminders from community. Instead they changed the things which were not broken at all. Makes me wonder if this is how this game was 'supposed to be played'?

Most deffinetly done buying gems and gave my 1 star review. The update is an issue of it's own but the fluffy bunnies is an on going problem for years now and is getting out of control. Wont address it because modders buy gems. Game is short lived between the issues and the fact that sc ignores it as long as we're buying gems. No gems here and I advise everyone I come across to do the same.
I still have 10,000 gems left , gonna make em last the rest of the year, I'll. Try hard.
Very much agreed OP. I used to buy the £3,99/500 gem chest here and there when I would have spare change over the past year. funny how it all adds up, went through my playstore receipts and they reach well over £200. Might not be that much but it would have me sorted for some of my winter bills lol. Not to mention I bought my wife and my younger brother their 4th and 5th builders as well. Now I am running low on gems because I decided to gem up my builders to do my xbow to l3 and my queen to l10.
Wasn't going to log off and get trashed by some max th10/11 and have it all to do again.... but if/when I run out of gems I will just have to raid every 20 mins with barch. Or given how the loot continues to dry my builders will be in for a long holiday. But Supercell won't be getting that spare change anymore, not that it matters to them of course. Imagine if several hundred thousand people stop making these micro transactions and several hundred whales boycott as well over a significant period of time... Perhaps that might dent Supercell's pockets enough to react. Let's face it the only language they will understand is finance.
