Im not a big fan of the update.. I dont like how TH10 is still incredibly unbalanced, i think the village guard and shield system is silly and i cant keep elixor for the life of me...
But! I have adapted, im still attacking and making upgrades. Just not DE or elixor upgrades as im struggling there. Oh and the win percentage league bonus is ridiculous. Scrap that please.

Like when they introduced something new super over powered then nerf it once they hit their qouta.
I am forced to dump my excess Gold on walls to prevent higher people from bullying me...I guess that was my way to adapt...I have noticed also a change in the farming army I use....
I still say loot is terrible, where are other people finding their loot? They keep on posting raids of around 400k...and I am just lucky to find a base with 300k in storages that is not a max TH9 or TH10 or higher..

I find plenty of 350k raids in champ3. But they are storage raids.. Iv never had the patients to next for 10 minutes looking for a dead base with a barch army in silver.
But yes, loot coild be much better! I may find it but its not easy taking it from maxed TH10 or 11. I rely on the crappy bonus.
If you're a strong 10 and in champ 3 anyway....get your barch on mate.
Don't need dead bases, anything over 50k lix stolen is a win, as you're only spending 100k of the 160k bare 50% bonus.
If you've adapted this far, you're only 1 step away from consistent fast profit.
TH10s with 50+ hero levels, 9.5s with 40+, silent noobs<> needs you!

The problem is mate i suck at barching 😅 like bad.
So i stick with war attacks which i can do.
New th11 and have managed to still gain elixir and gold by pushing up leagues. Currently in champs 2 and the bonus of 225k is what is making attacking viable. DE is just about stable, but luckily i have maxed aq and bk from before the update otherwise im sure i would be struggling to upgrade them. I imagine for lower th's that will be in lower leagues, it is a struggle to farm and keep hold of any loots. I've adapted by being the player supercell want me to be ( as much as i hate to say it ), i attack for storages, attack with full strong armies, attack behind shield, attack far less often than i did before and unfortunately, im on far less than i used to be. Since they patched the pbt, i havent been kicked off either.
Difinitely kudos if you can adapt, but I've been thinking about the game on a much larger scale. I have the lucky advantage of being at my end game, but I see threads every single day of people unable to store their loot effectively, whilst also not being able to raid enough back to split even let alone make a profit.
Unless SC do something about loot ( there have been a lot of constructive ideas put forward ), I can only see this getting worse and worse. I can't see how a TH8 these days, is going to be able to farm all the way through maxing TH9, 10 and 11 without at least buying some gems down the way, putting a ton of hours in, and quitting rl lol.. I'm being serious as well.
Ive explained my reasons in countless threads, all a bit mumbled I suppose. I'm just hoping SC realise although we had it easy back then, now is just too hard. It is. I'm not crying, im actually trying to look out for the future fellow clashers. Im sorted lol, I could quit in 2 weeks when AQ is 40 and I would be one happy chappy.

As a 9 in masters one, I find elixir coming slow, but de is coming non stop. Drills alone cover what I lose each day getting leveled. Everything I raid for is pure profit. Gold is also coming non stop. If you need elixir, using quakes and de heavy armies isn't ideal, but makes the elixir come pouring in as well. There are ways to make this update work. People just want the easy way out. In the end I'm happy and like this update a lot. It's a challenge, but it should be harder the further in game you get.
