    Were bots the real problem?

Supercell used 80% attacks in certain leagues as justification for removing th snipe. But in thinking about it I have grown to suspect that most of the snipes were likely bots. How many humans are going to have the patience to just mindlessly pick off town halls all day? Especially in the lower leagues? But a computer will do it all day long no problem. If this is the case wouldn't it be easier to simply eliminate bots and other c heat programs?

I have learnt that a large amount of the clash community did that and called it "farming". Lol

Then you are mistaken as to what a farmer is. Most farmers if you take my experience and what is posted as an accurate representation of the overall community pick off a th every now and then but mostly
    focus on higher return attacks.

You don't need to do much googling to find out there is/was 3rd party program which did automated snipes...
