Query on PBT

Hi all! I just want to ask something about PBT.

Earlier i logged off at 4:45 pm(2 minutes before PBT). I am expecting to be attacked since I have plenty of loot to give. When I logged in 26 minutes later at 5:11 pm, I was attacked and did not get any shield (the attacker got 25%). When I checked the PBT timer, it said 8 minutes left before the personal break which is the same as my guard.

My question is this, does the 15 minute(?) guard that we get after being attacked not count as a break from our end?

Edit: Now I was attacked again at 24% and still I need to log off in 25 minutes. This is after two attacks for which my AQ and BK down, two traps and xbows rearms, and lost loot at 160k gold, 84k elix, 351 de.

I believe it's a 30 minute VG and your PBT should have been reset.

The VG will count on your pbt if youbare online.

To get it reset you need to get shield, go through the loop of on/off until mercy rule is applied or not getting attacked for 15 minutes. Anything other than this will not reset PBT.

This means 15 minute with VG are considered an extension for PBT instead of resetting it

Note: 0% attackers are not counted in any situation

Op - no vg counts as ONLINE time, so you weren't off long enough. And yes its really irritating!

VG is 30 minutes now and with a attack between 1-29%, u only get a vg and a pbt extension.
so at 4-45 ur pbt remaining was 2minutes, then u got attacked, which provided 30 min vg and 30 mins pbt- total 32 mins of pbt. the pbt timer continues to run when vg is on, so when u logged on after 26 mins, total remaining pbt is 8mins (32-26 = 6 minutes, it is 8 min because u got vg after 2 mins of going offline); u can do similar calculation for other attack too.
This is the main problem with vg that pbt runs even if u dont want, and highlights the need to disable it if someone wants.

By the way, I just noticed today that they have increased the pbt limit back to 6 hrs again.
