It was easy. The day before the update went live I dropped to snipe the people that did not "get the memo" to put the TH inside. I spent time sniping in silver for the easy loot and have now moved back up to Masters. Still climbing and the defenses have tapered off. If I had stayed, I imagine I could have many, many more. The Cup Droppers at high TH levels in low leagues is non-stop.
After every 3-4 successfull defense VG kicks in, so apart from shield that is also slowing down.
currently at 750 defense.
Vg gets the award for most redundant feature!

I did it in a couple season with 2000+ each, and not really trying too hard either.
I've known some that did it in a single season before the update.
You could be right, but its that kind of achievement thats not in your hand, it completely depends on the attacker that he choose your base fr attack or not (he finds your base tempting or not), u can make your base tempting by placing one or two storage/ de storage out.
a clan member is currently doing a very funny thing he got his drills boosted and well protected but his de storage is empty and lying unprotected outside, it shows attacker that he have 2500 de but when those noobs destroy storage he gets nothing. So there were also ways to achieve it also preupdate no doubt in that.
but in this scenario dropper are very effective so thats not my actual defense its just droppers all i have to do is prevent shields.
