How am I supposed to make progress if i'm actually losing more than making???

Hello guys and gals. Long term player here, only raid 2 to 5 times a day. Been playing for 2.5 years straight (I have 3 accounts). Never wrote a complaint towards any game before as I would just quit the game but this game, man, how can I leave my clanmates behind. The ONLY reason I am still sticking around is because of MY CLANMATES. We have been together since the beginning, they still play though, but definitely way less than before. I'm pretty much the one who provide troops to them for war or raiding.
Now let's jump to the point. Raiding now sucks. Defending even more sucks. I hardly find a base with a decent amount of loot and able to pay off my army costs (GiBarch if u wonder). I have tried various trophy range and I am just sick of hitting "Next". Here is my Attack Log, barely a raid, just tried to drop trophies, I only log on the game to collect loot from collectors and donate troops to my clan members, that's pretty much it. no raiding at all.

So my question is: How can i even make progress anymore if i'm losing way more loot than making now?
Don't tell me to gem as they will never get a penny from my pocket anymore (I did gem my base, $1500 so far).
Don't tell me to play more than often as I have a life.
If i don't see any response from them by this weekend, then I guess I will have to say goodbye to my clanmates.

Looking at your Attack Log, i would guess your army composition is an issue. BK needs some support to get loot.

I would actually suggest you do the exact opposite. Get your cookies, go down to silver and do what is explained here: http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...83-Milking-101.

I'm a TH10, moving to higher league means I will pretty much face the stronger bases than mine (I don't upgrade my defenses to have balance clan war) and I dont think cheap army like GiBarch would actually can help me get loot from those bases. I can see a lot of stronger TH10 than my base even when im at Gold league, not to mention that i will get wrecked more often.

You do not upgrade defenses to manipulate war matching and are asking how to progress? Really? How can you not see the flaw in this question?

Well, they drop trophies mostly so they can get more loot by raiding low powered bases, not so they can defend better. But you dropped trophies for what ? You didn't even attack and stayed at Silver, no wonder you kept losing loot. Go to Crystal league at least, or Master.

im struggling with finding dark elixir and elixir. can upgrading troops and king/queen be considered as making progress?

check the link posted above, i found the new way of farming called "milking". thats why i dropped a lot of trophies to get down to silver/bronze to farm. im just getting tired of dropping so i stopped and did something else (i stated before, i have a life, 30mins to the game maximum). no point of going higher league really as to have full loot bonus, you have to destroy more than 70% of the base and i doubt gibarch will get that much of destruction %.

You decided that defending your loot in multi-player was less important than war matching. A conscious choice by you. What you are asking is to be able to manipulate one aspect of the game with no repercussions in another. Think about it. This mentality, and complaining about it, makes it difficult for the real issues of the game to be heard and acted upon.
