What do you consider "good" farming?

I've seen many threads since the update discussing loot - most unhappy with loot post-update and a few posters retorting that loot is "fine" or "good" or "great." So, what do you consider to be good farming and good loot? Because in my experience loot has been pretty terrible post-update.

I am a near-max th10 that pre-update farmed with barch or gibarch. I consider myself a farmer that enjoys war. Pre-update I played to grow my base and enjoyed war; now if not for war I probably wouldn't bother. I usually raided 10-15 times a day and didn't bother to snipe. I would seek out th9s or early th10s with full storages and take dead bases when I came across them. That allowed me to obtain 1.3 billion GG and 1.2 billion EE.

Post-update, I am seeing plenty of loot, but it's locked up in bases like mine. Good luck barching or gibarching those bases without full heroes and spells. Sorry, SC, but I don't have any interest in engaging in war attacks outside of war to try eek out some lix. And I don't want to push! Kudos to those who do, and kudos to those that succeed, but that's not the game that I've loved playing for nearly two years.

Anyway, back to the main point, what does everyone consider to be "good" enough loot to stay interested and keep farming? Dead bases? Full storages on lower ths? Full storages on early ths at the same level? To those who are finding this "good" loot, how many nexts is it costing you to find it?

Dead bases strictly and premmie bases are the only way to obtain a solid loot per hour.

What at I would consider good? Around 2 million combined per hour just like pre update it wasn't easy still took 6-8 hours to grind out Max storages but it was way better than this where it takes way longer. I CAN play twice thrice that amount but those who can't I see and understand their pain when it comes to upgrading walks and such.

10 to 15 nexts is good enough IMO..either in storages (that I can take on) or collectors...but I am finding terrible loot...

I'm taking it from storages from 9's 10's and the unfortunate full th8's who have sat a bit too high unshielded.

Farming is pretty much dead to a th10

But I'm having fun by building a full war army, 315k of elixer 1.5k dark...including the spells....

im hitting any base I see with 500k looking to get at least 400k from it....I can do two maybe three of them under a shild, I then get barched for 100-200k and get my shield, it's slow growth but I am growing....plus the way I see it is....if I run out of elixer I quit! and look to play Fifa or star wars on ps4......there is no way I will feed supercells greed forcing to buy gems to upgrade

What she said, just adding at th9 against th8s & th10s against th9s with GBArch with maybe 1 heal spell. At th10 it is not worth the attack as you need more spells & more heroes heal time as

As a th9 in masters 1, I'm looking for bases that will get me 300k gold and elixir and 3k De per raid including loot bonus. I make two atttacks per hour un boosted.

I mainly just going to champs for the gems, then I'll probably drop but I've been a barcher at any trophy level. But getting hit a ton up here. Still doing well enough to have 4-5 builders ggoing.

    Good question!

Me: CrystalII/III - TH9, pretty mid range, lv10 heros, half skull walls, casual player but I boost a couple of evenings a week and session raid, don't touch it the rest of the time).

    Good loot:
    * Full collectors on a TH8 (easy to get, great return)
    * 200k+ of either or 2k+ of dark which I can get to with a gigobarch or superqueen army + max 2 spells @ around 50% damage i.e not a th10 with infernos, often not high 9s.

    Worth a punt loot:
    * Half full collectors on a th9/10 - usually get toasted before you get it all, but it's always profitable
    * 150K of either + 1k+ dark

Anything lower just doesn't seem worth the effort

Willing to next? Under 10 is good, around 20 times is my limit of this-is-getting-dull, if I'm not boosted I'd probably give up. Above 30 or so nexts I just can't be bothered even if boosted and tend to quit out for a bit.

You're doing it wrong if your army costs that much. Experiment with different armies than you're used to to find the best fit for your attack style. My army goes for around 200k elixir and 1500 dark, masters win bonus pays for half, look for loaded 9s or preemie 10s to pick on. Don't make it more complicated than it needs to be.
