I see that you have 5 builders, how'd that happen without gems. When u boost barracks and spell factories, that my friend is using gems as well
Try training an army and spells. It will do wonders for your progress. Lets try to be realistic here. Nothing wrong with complaining but no need to be overly dramatic. I started this game only in January 2015 and it was so fun. I could play at my own pace and progress. Now its just like being stuck in limbo with no fun to be had whatsoever. Everything is at a standstill, no resource for lab research, no resource to upgrade anything. If it wasn't for my clan mates, I would have left already.
Why can't the noobs at supersell just accept that their update is not good. It downright rotten.

Are you simply stupid or have you started playing the game today ? They are achievements in the game that allow you to earn gems, and cleaning up your base also allows you to get quite some gems. Without buying any I have reached more than 4000 at some point in time.
If using your earned gems to buy builders hut is your definition of a gemmer, then every player is a gemmer, but you probably should stop playing and start with a game you understand.
