The Fault in Supercell's Un-Comfirmed Change With Dead Bases

Wow did I seriously spell un-confirmed wrong in the title........kill me.

Check out FSU_ATL's video on this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3hmPNa-mMI

God, you know it's a problem when this is the first post I've posted in like the past year.

As you all know, there has been much talk regarding whether or not Supercell has changed the way they deal with dead bases. Dead bases were a big part for farming, and knowing that Supercell got rid of farming in the latest update (proof from Daddy's twitter), they must've done something with dead bases.

If you are unaware of the changes that Supercell might've made (not confirmed), here me out:

If you don't attack for a certain amount of days, your base will slowly go down the attack queue. There is plenty of proof everywhere over the internet (mostly Twitter) where an individual doesn't attack for around 5 days, which in-turn, results in no one attacking them. If you don't attack for a few days, your base will be considered dead, and NO ONE can attack you.

Now I don't want to talk about how this kills farming because it definitely was their intention to kill farming. Proving that it does kill farming won't help anyone. But this kind of system....it made me think a little bit. But please note, this system has not yet been confirmed by Supercell, so please keep that in mind as you continue to read.

Let's say I am a player in Legend's League and I'm at...let's say 5300 trophies. The proposed dead base system is, if your base is inactive for 5 days, you will be removed from the attack queue and no one can attack you. You are considered a dead base. So, I hit 5300 trophies and I feel like taking advantage of this new system. Let's say I don't play for 5 days. Since offense at Town Hall 11 is super over-powered (as you all know), you will get 3 starred if you go offline, which grants you a 16 hour shield. Since at Legend's League you probably get a 6 cup offer every time you attack, over the course of 5 days, I will lose around 45 trophies (after calculations). So after 5 days of inactivity, my trophy count will be 5255 and according to the new system, my base will be considered a dead base, WHICH MEANS I WON'T BE ATTACKED.....EVER.

Anyone at Legend's League can choose to not attack for 5 days and pretty much get an unlimited shield time because no one can attack them. They will stay in the Legend's League, not having to try at all. And guess who all the Legend players are.......they are all gemmers. This new update, along with this new dead base system, all is in favor of gemmers. This translates to more money for Supercell, who we all know just love money so much.

Supercell will probably delete this.....ehh who cares.

Interesting hypothesis, I have will have to try that with my maxed th10 in champ 1 and see the results.... perfect timing too because of the holidays. Although understand that logging on to collect will move you to the top because I've witnessed that on my other account. .. I haven't attacked in weeks and still get rolled on

    Your theory is consiracy
this has been discussed in other threads
there is an algorithm when you log off the game, you are pushed to the top of the pool
you are reset to the very top
in lower leagues thier are possibly millions of players
each time you are attacked, getting a sheild or not, or even getting Nexted, you go down the totem pole
when you finally get a sheild, eventually it will break, this does not reset where you are in the pool, not until you log in/off again
with millions in lower leagues, you hit next at any time you will see possibly hundreds of bases that JUST logged off, with a rare base that may have logged off a while ago, it can take forever and ever of nexting til you may come across one that logged off hours ago
CLIMB the leagues, get out of silver/bronze hell
in the higher leagues, let's say legends and upper Titans
there is only a few thousand players if that, as soon as a sheild breaks they are attacked, the pool up there is EXTREAMLY small, even if they haven't logged in, in days, they are instantly attacked when sheild breaks
why, there is al it's NO one up there compared to the lower league full of bully's
they sit in the cloud for up to an hour before a base even pops up, once a shield pops, or a player logs off
some are quitting because, there is NOTHING for them to do, because every time they log into attack, they are all in a cloud que waiting for one players sheild to break
you aren't getting attacked after a couple of days INACTIVE, way faster in dead base zone, then before, only because SO many players are no longer behind shields in the lower leagues, millions of players down there logging in and out, pushing all players DOWN way far fast, within a day or two, this IS not the case in the higher leagues.

I'm friend with an inactive player via Facebook. He has a rushed th8 base, bad collectors, one drill, he has not played since 6 months at least. Th ouside.
He was always sitting about 1000 trophies, now he is at 1200 (lol strange isn't it).
When I look his base he's been attacked, and the destruction pattern change. So he's totally inactive but other people are seeing his base everyday.
However all those th10 now in lower leagues make you next much more before finding a dead base, as it was the case in master and champion pre-update.

I'm also friends with people through Facebook and when looking at their base after who knows how long of inactivity they still haven't been attacked since I started this game, about 6 months ago. So either they are extremely lucky and never get attacked, somehow managed to buy an unlimited shield, or their base has been removed from the queue. I'm guessing the last one is the most accurate.

    Regarding the bold red text...

That is not true. After the season ends, you have to attack again to be placed in a league. Anyways, I'm not a huge fan of the update either but I'm trying to adapt as much as possible despite the fact that farming is dead.

Don't listen to the fan boys, they do hold back bases, and it's no longer 5 days, it's more like 2 since the update. But just logging on & tapping collectors has put ppl back active and into the cue when their shield expires. So the only way to make this work for you is give it 2 days + however long it takes collectors to fill up.
but, I've noticed more th8s today in my search, so it looks like they opened things up a tad, so they may be adding back in more dead bases too.
it would be interesting for all the ppl who reported on their second accounts to do the same thing post this maintenance break & see if they have the same results as before.

Ok yeah thats true but at the beginning of each season, they can go and push for 45 trophies, then just stop for the rest of the month lol
