    Great Idea.

    New heros would be nice, but yes, you should limit them by only having 2 alters.

    In my opinion, this is the only way you can introduce a "Goblin" hero. With a King and Queen it's too much however with just a King or just a Queen then a Goblin Prince (or whatever name) would be cool.

    Maybe the others could rest in the Town Hall?

    Problem with this

    There is one problem with this, if you have a hero die what happens? You can just switch to another hero and not have to be slowed down because you hero is healing.

    This idea has been suggested before, but I like the detail of this thread. The only problem is that a hero for every troop would be a little excessive as the barbarian king is very similar to a PEKKA and could you really imagine a wall breaker king or healer queen . I think it would be better if the heroes would be limited to tier one troops. I myself have wondered this same thing. I provide very detailed stats on a minion/goblin hero in the thread linked in my signature.
    The thread I am talking about(sorry if it seems like I am advertising my thread, there is just more detail there) also suggests an induced limit on a flying hero as a permanent, powerful flying defense would cause an uproar. Therefore I suggested that as certain buildings are destroyed speed and power are reduced.

    In the original post I stated that you could only interchange heroes with full health points so that this wouldn't happen, if your hero died defending or attacking you would still have to wait the allotted time or heal them in order to change to a different hero

    It says in the original post that you wouldn't be able to substitute a hero until it was fully healed.

    I never said you had to have a hero for every troop type, this is just a way to implement some new heroes without it unbalancing gameplay
