I've got an account I haven't logged into for 3 1/2 weeks... it hasn't been hit in 2 1/2 weeks. I check it daily. It's sitting on maxed gold mines, collectors and drills. According to other players thought it's just pushed far back in the queue. I mean because once in your clash career you've gone 2 1/2 weeks without getting your base hit right?![]()
I have 2 8's and 2 9's. I took a break to come here and whine shortly after the update dropped - off for 8 days. When I got back on neither of my 8's had been hit since shortly after the last time I'd logged on previously; both of my 9's were hit several times per day.
I know S/C hides dead bases, I just don't think they do at higher TH levels - I've found a lot of 9's and 10' with plenty of collector loot.
(Oh, and I joined in with the adapt-or-leave peeps. Farmed 3 level 10 walls with gobbie heavy barch in about 4 hours on my main 9.)
That's nice and all OP.. But all it takes to counter your claim is for someone to post a video showing a recent raid on a "dead base" and your argument is invalid.
If there's so much Jesus in your heart, how come you're not able to share some of that Jesus with the world?
I uninstalled clash 4 days ago and reinstalled today to check villages. My TH8 was attacked repeatedly while my TH9 one was not attacked for loot at all (not even once). The TH9 got a few people dropping trophies for a short while but eventually not even that.
I did start some gold mines upgrades on TH8 one while on TH9 one all workers were idle. It seems like that's the trick: If village is completely idle (including workers and possibly Barracks/SF/etc) for a long period then it gets hidden from matchmaking.

My TH8 base is the same as the OP 3 days off that account and no attacks on my full storages. As soon as i log back in for war do a raid i get smashed.
I think it's more complicated than simply "dead bases vanish". I checked in on an old account the other day that I hadn't logged into in over a month. Strangely, I had a shield! I went over the Defense Log and learned something interesting. It seems that I got attacked in spurts, followed by long periods of being ignored. I would get raided about 3 or 4 times over a day or two, and then nothing at all for 11 or 12 days, and then a few raids again. That pattern held for the entire month on my log.
(That particular account was a newish TH6 in low Gold league, for what it's worth)
Once again, Supercell does not completely delete inactive bases in multiplayer. They simply make it incredibly difficult to find. I still find inactive bases, just not nearly as much as before, so I do not rely on them anymore (adapt or leave, right?) If someone posts a collector raid, it means they are very lucky or nexted for an hour.
