    The future meta for TH11 farming bases!? SUPER defended loot and eagle artellery

    So Yesterday i Got this crazy idea, dunno if it works in reality but could be worth a try.

    the idea is pretty simple.

    You place eagle artillery in center along with Maybe DE storage and cc. Walls around and buffer buildings around that with extra layers of walls to really make that center hard to reach.

    Now after that very hard to reach core, the base consist of two other main compartments that are somewhat easier to reach.

    one with mainly 6 storages and 90% of you defenses. Effectively making that compartment one Big dead zone with two infernos, 4 x bows, 4 ADs and generally LOADS OF FIREPOWER

    one with mainly th, 2 storages, 10% defenses and just enough buffer buildings to make up 30%

    general idea is that you force the attacker to make a choice.

    Take that easy compartment with th and storages and have some loot and give me a shield. Not a "cheap" shield like we used to have, sure. but cheaper than the typical shield nowadays which typicly comes after losing 4 storages, 50% and a TH.

    OR

    go for the dead zone compartment with main portion of storages and a ♥♥♥♥ load of firepower. Which Will be VERY hard to decimate.

    Main concern is that the attacker just attacks the "loot" compartment and leave the center and th compartment alone which Would be very bad since you Would lose to many ressources to make it a "farming" base. But Maybe, just Maybe, that compartment is possible to make hard enough so that maybe 80% attack from the desired side and give you a shield.

    so question is.... Can you make that nightmare compartment, so scary, that the vast majority chooses the easy 30% and some loot as a Thank you for the shield?

    i really suck at base designing, so unfortunatly i cant give you an example, but you get the idea :-)

    Eagle Artillery? More like Pigeon Artillery. TH11s will three star you with GoWiWi regardless

    I know its not at all what was shown in clashcon, but on the other hand i feel like it does enough damage to make sure an attacker cant just ignore it for the Whole raid

    Yeah, I think your idea could work. You just need to make sure you have lots of compartments. Wide spread bases are a thing of the past with gowiwi and grand warden.

    Yeah, it has to be pretty intelligent put together for it to work. I 100% agree that widespread bases are garbage now. But even though supercell has made farming Harder i Think a bright base designer could make this the new farming base. Sadly only th11 Can benifit from it

    With this update that force people at TH11 to farm with top-tier army combined with the fact that loot, especially Elixir, is very hard to come by for TH10 and 11, I think you put too much faith on the idea that people would just take an easy loot and leave you alone (with shield).

    When you use low-tier farming troops like GiBarch, you can easily minimize your troop deployment to be efficient, but when people farm with GoWipe or LaLoonion, it's hard to just use half the army and make it work. You might end up wasting half your army and get almost nothing (then come back to your own village and find out you got extra Golem you didn't want but you made them in advance to save time). If I see a base like what you describe, I'd go full attack on you to ensure maximum loot. Not gonna waste Hero regeneration time just for chump change either. This might work a bit better on TH9 and below but forget about it. You'd get wrecked by TH10 and TH11 all the same. You might get lucky every now and then but that's about it.

    TLDR: No, it's not going to work well. I guarantee it.

    This will be considered for future. eagle artillery is weak now. Let's wait for a buff when kill squads will be needed!

    I second that..

    top tier army's are great if you find a 500+ loot and 3k de.. Any other time they are usless.. Barch is best but now sc are forcing you to use a top army.. My th 10 is getting boring and I have 4 builders idle because I can't find loot or train a top tier army to then fail.. I barched my hole life and enjoyed clash.. Now it's disappointing.

    If it is twice fast idk maybe you would cry.
