In cases like this, happy players and neutral players will be like, "meh, i feel too lazy to vote" while angry players will be more like "fuuc you supercell! I will show my displeasure everywhere... Oh look! A poll! I have to tell you how much i hate you at that Poll!" After all, anger is an energy of action, angry people are more likely to do stuff out of spite, than happy people out of gratitude.

Besides, I suspect most of the non update haters have left the forums and wouldn't take your poll anyways. I know I rarely check it anymore, since it's mostly useless now...
