the sequence of dropping the dragons should begin on both sides going inside.
That makes sure that the sides will be the first to get destroyed and the center dragons will not go there.
If you fail to make the side buildings get destroyed first, the center dragons will go on the sides, and you will not get a 3 star.

That base is so bad and underleveled you can 3 star it with giants, healers, wizards and 1 rage 2 heal.
