I'm currently in gold II and since the update I'm finding absolutely no good loot, spent 500K on searching and I found nothing. Any tips for league or army? I preferably would want inactive bases, but if you have any tips for where you can find a lot of loot in the storages I'm open for that.

Happy loot at 800 cups. My mini is there and finds many in Actives
I am too at the current moment a non-rushed TH9 in Gold II, and before the update, there was always 250k - 300k G/E every 6 or so 'next's. Now all the bases I find are under 100k. Those who claim they can find substantial loot constantly are kidding themselves.
I've done a little experimentation and between Silver I and Crystal III, the odds of finding an inactive base is roughly at 40+ next's (Even during the least busiest hours between 12am - 6am when a majority of players are asleep).
I am still using Barch, and occasionally do GiantWizArch, but the loot I gain will never be the same as before. I think the main problem is that a lot of people are playing the game again and taking the loot before we do; or suddenly became active and spent all their resources on upgrades. So I think the best thing to do is to hold off from looting/farming until it all settles down.
Find and use a decent farming base and put efforts towards getting shielded and winning wars for loot.

Gold II to Silver III has a difference of 800 trophies (I sat on 1600) and it doesn't take a genius to drop that many (32 bases each averaging at -25 trophies? That isn't impossible, you could even do it under 10 minutes). You drop surrender with a hero?

There was loot around silver 2-3 and maybe even bronze 1. But since people are getting off school and work for the holidays, there are less inactives. Hopefully there will be a 1 gem collector boost around the holidays to make it easier to find collector raids.

Get yourself into Crystal 2 or 3, im a maxed out th9 with lvl 10 walls and hero's lvl 18 n 19, loads of loot up here and the bonus is okay, few in actives, lots of farmers holding easy 500k in total loot.
