It's funny. In my last clan war, we were making fun of the other clan for using kind of a ridiculous army comp to 3 star our TH7. We were joking that it is because of the loot drought.

For you, I will check the replay now..

For example
14 Barb, 14 Arch, 6 Giant, 4 WB, 6 Wiz, 3 Dragon, 10 Hog, 3 Heal, 1 Psn, 1 EQ (?) + Max CC hogs

First pull dragon CC with barb arch

Start with giants and WB's

Barch/Wiz one side of the base with heal spell and hogs

These will take out the core and Ad's. Almost the whole base is taken. And thn he finish 3 drags clear one corner of the base and finish up.

Now I don't have all the calculations on the cook time and costs, but consider it. Multiples of the other clan (they didn't seem very good) were using this on our TH7 and 3-starring them easily. The hogs (Level 1) just clear the base with heals with the back up of the gibarch wiz..

TH7 seems pretty easy to take out when I see this.. I know standard GiHeal combos sometime can get stuck on walls and that creates issues in time (in the past, not with new 30 sec?)

And I completely feel your pain on losing trophies. My TH8 sometimes goes against TH9 and when I get 45% and lose 30 cups, I want to cry!

Day 0:


Took the decision of dedicating a few days to farming just over 5M elixir. The reason is for me to upgrade the last 2 barracks to level 9, and the dark barack to level 2. That way I can be able to train a mass drag in just 1 hour, or 20 minutes with boost. I may drop all the way to Gold I...Currently trying out different staregirs. GiBarch, Barch, GiWiHe...

Yea but maintaining elixir is just one of the pre-reqs. There are very very low amounts of th8 in champs. You will lose a lot of trophies on your defenses because you will get run over. You won't be able to 2 star reliably at all because you are going to run into maxed 9s all day long. And that is only at ~3000-3200 trophies. You're going to be fighting for minimal trophies per victory. I just don't really see it as possible unless you have a large bank account and you are the best %er in the game to 1 star everybody.. Let alone losing an offense will be devastating.

Hey shapesh, i would have to agree with you on a few points but not all. To start with.. yes there are not many th8 left here in champ3 but there are still enough to get one on a regular basis. As for being smashed by maxed 9's and not to mention 10's and 11's to lol that part is also true, good thing is though they take less so it's actually better than being beaten by them than someone the same level who manages to 3 star (not uncommon up here). I get hit twice a day (max so far) normally 3 star, up to 50 cups and a fair bit of loot. I can normally make that back in one or two attacks with the exception of cups unless i get a couple of good offerings. To loot, well i am in disagreement there. I am passing big raids all the time in search of good cups, and winning just as many as i pass. I'm getting regular raids over 400k not including bonuses. As for not getting 2 stars or as you say one starring people you are also wrong there. I may not get max 9's with being an 8 but there are many new and weaker 9's up here that can be 3 starred and the th8's and even get close to a really rushed 10 if done right. I am still finding it easy to sit in champ 3 and i was just about to do a little push before going on to 9 to see how far i can go. Not impossible that's for sure and just to add to this statement.. i have never spent a cent and probably never will!..

Day 1

Today was a slow day. The aim was to dedicate it to farming whilst slowly climbing up. After some consideration the troop composition is a basic barch with a few modifiers. Firstly I throw in a few drags(1/2) and CC loons or drags. I also take with me x3 heals just in case the drags fall into trouble. So far made about 800k elixir, far from my goal but that was only 3 attacks. Will continuo for about 25-30 hours and then dedicate entirely to pure pushing...

Ok guys, you deserve an update. Currently near M3, borderline C1. Been Mass Draggin around 170-200 trophies per day. Now my elixir is an all out low. This is the opposite of my DE. My question is how to use hogs to 3 star TH7s. I'am finding tons TH7s with 20 trophy offers. Would be great to have an insight on how to use hogs. DraBarching is getting on my nerves...
