Interesting idea here. Let's say I allocate 140 hours in this push. With a target of 10-15 cups per hour, I shall gain 1400-2100 trophies. As I'am in Masters 3, I need only 150 cups to reach Titans 3. Other than Mass Drag and hog/based attacks, any other troop compositions?
Is quite a feat! Under the old system it was possible. Good luck trying that now. And you must be nuts to complain that you are having trouble pushing to titan much less champ level. : /

No, mass drag with rage is the only option imo. Just curious how much money you have.. Aiming for 10-15 cups an hour.. A mass drag army takes nearly 80-90 min without boost. Assume you gain ~5-10 trophies per win being generous, assuming you have a 100% success rate. Lose one battle, and you're down 5-6 full mass dragon armies worth of elixir, cooking time, and searching time.
Imo, it takes a specialist who has lots and lots of money and experience already pushing/farming high leagues. Even then it might not even be possible.

Worryingly true tbh. Well, now for a couple of days participating in some wars and some basic farming to increase and cap out all my loot. Also trying to stabilise at 2600 trophies. Hopefully will start on Monday, now if 140hours isn't enough, I can up that to 160 hours. Also have 1800 gems cached in case. Of course the biggest problem is that I still have yet to upgrade to barracks to level 9, which means mass drag every 2 hours. I feel that maybe a full on barch may be useful in taking out under protected town halls, which I did post update that took me from C1 to M2 in a single boosted hour. TH8s offer me an average of 20 cups atm, with TH9s 30+. The TH7S in Masters offer me over 38 cups which is amazing. So far I can only find tH7s in gold which is unusual, but the one in masters are very heavy on the trophy offer side of things. Its at Champs where the challenges accumulate as its a death pit. An advantage i guess is that ,most of the farmers are trying to drop to silvers/bronze. Free trophies?
I can't help but love when people try to do daring tasks, but yea.. I just don't see it working haha. No one is going to drop trophies on you. I'm a TH8 in champs still active here and been here for a long time.
Hopefully, you can find my base because it is in holiday event mode. I still don't think you would 3 star it because of the max ADs but it would be an easy 2 star with a max army for you... I'd probably offer a ton of trophies to you as well if your in Masters 1 or lower.
Maybe I'm wrong and the matchmaking literally puts u against all the TH8 in the area. I'm sure there are still a few lingering and gowiping or something. My last defense was actually against a TH8 surprisingly.

Riddle me this dudes...So just started software pushing. I find a ton of TH7s with offers of around 10 cups. It takes 2 hours to train an army of Mass Drags. I just took out a semi-maxed out TH9 for 1 star, 44%. That base had level 10 walls. Now I could have got the 2 star but I overlapped my second rage too much of the first rage. Now the question is this...Is there any other ground-based attack strategies which can take out another TH7 which isn't hog based. Any stats at all which doesn't take over 1h30min...Even loons are OK! This push is fun so far...even If I just lost 38 cups to a th8
Don't know but have heard that GiWiHe is not that bad. Anyone tried it post-update...
