Maybe... Maybe... Masters, but champs no way. Not a single th8 even. I've seen 1 th8 i masters once, and in champs now. Mostly top tier TH9+.

I actually profit in champs with my TH8. Not everyone can do it. And it takes boosting..

should be somewhat easier if you can find those precious 4 cup th 7/8 bases with the more th oriented matchmaking

Yea but maintaining elixir is just one of the pre-reqs. There are very very low amounts of th8 in champs. You will lose a lot of trophies on your defenses because you will get run over. You won't be able to 2 star reliably at all because you are going to run into maxed 9s all day long. And that is only at ~3000-3200 trophies. You're going to be fighting for minimal trophies per victory. I just don't really see it as possible unless you have a large bank account and you are the best %er in the game to 1 star everybody.. Let alone losing an offense will be devastating.

The only real reason I'am doing it other than the challenge factor is to entertain my audience, I feel no one has done that before. I feel I will get stuck at Champs3 but let's just see how that will go. Going to spend these last couple of days farming up my resources. Do you know any good TH7 bases or is there no point being that Mass Drags can just wreck it all up?

Already in masters dude. Also just got visited by a Titan TH7 the other day, so it's still kinda possible. Also Savage Sevens is full of titans and champions atm...

Let's presume I take out 15 of those bases. That gets me about 60 trophies. I will lose about 40+ on defense. That's why 1 starring TH9s maybe a better idea?

I respect that but it's quite the challenge lol. Your base design has zero importance. Every single player can wreck your base at ease for the bonus. You'll be a prime target and with the new PBT, you are going to bleed cups on defense even if you buy VG.. In the very least, this is all reasonable talk but you'll find out for yourself soon
