Can SC hire someone to talk to the community??

They must have a big enough budget to hire someone to talk to and update their great customers I would assume?? They know there is a HUGE problem right now and almost zero communication. They said a fix was coming, WHEN?? How about a person who talks to us, explains why things are like they are, when we can expect fixes, just in general, let us know that we are being heard!!

I love this game, but I really feel like everyone is talking to a wall. Why the silence, is that normal in business to do?? A few more posts or comments about what's going on would be fantastic and I think would calm everyone down. Most people are making a bigger deal about small things, because they want to be heard and don't feel they can without shouting. Just talk to us please, argue with us, debate us agree with us, whatever, just let us know you care.

That's what the forums are for, the problem is they don't "communicate" back that much as you/we have expected.

Yes, it feels like we are writing in the sand and the ocean is just washing it away.

The mood is very cancerous right now. I love this game and I caught myself thinking about quitting, because the negativity in the game right now is so awful. If I feel like this, I can't imagine that any who was on the fence, hasn't packed up and left.

They shotgunned a half hearted update patch trying to shut everyone up. They have failed to realize they changed the way a LOT of people play and they expect us just as some of the people on the forums to just suck it up and get used to it. Its not going to happen.

The closest they've ever come is the Jonas interview chief pat did, as I recall it garnered them some support for a while. I don't understand why they wouldn't tell us anything in between patch notes, seems like a terrible PR move.

    Nope. They'd lose $$

More people employed means more on the payroll which means less money—however minuscule. No need to carry weight that isn't entirely necessary. They have plenty of people who can give a half-donkey'ed statement of solace to the rowdy community, so why hire a spokesperson that's gonna take all the heat for being "just the messenger?"

A PR annoucement would be an OTT response for what is essentially a few changes to a computer game.

Agreed they have nothing to tell us since the update other than PBT fixes but other than that if that are listing and planning to fix anything else or not just nothing at all.

I don't get why they are secretive with any of their release notes. It seams everyone wants to be like Apple with the secret yearly iPhone release and the leaks and rumors. It's not like there is another COC to compete with where secrecy matters. I don't think players of COC care to be "SURPRISED" every release. Just show us what you are working on for future releases and no one will be "UNHAPPY SURPRISED."
