Establish 'SET AS ACTIVE' troop formations!!

Much in the same way as you have multiple choices between 'active' farming and war bases, an additional interface to pre-set ones preffered farming or war troop formations would stream line a time-conscious players ability to quickly log on, raid and subsequently hit a single button which commences training his or her preffered raiding party.
This would result in the less tedious alternative (for some) of going through individual barracks, selecting individual troops and attempting to balance the training in such a way as to equally distribute the training time on each so they can get back to raiding asap.

Please reply with thoughts and promote this idea if you agree.

Please stop being so rude to the newcomers. The stickies are a waste of time. Some things there belong, others don't, and ruled out things have been implemented the next day.

If people don't say what they want, SuperCell won't hear it. I am very confident that SuperCell does not review the stickies.

Are you being serious right now? There was nothing in that post that came across as rude. I think it was very polite. I really feel like giving you a message that isn't polite right now. The ruled out ideas are too frequently suggested, and may be a pending update for the future. Posting these ideas, therefore, is useless.

It is a popular request! I would like it.

It is however complicated in the detail. Would this button dispose of any troops and spells already trained and waiting? If not, what then? The interface needs to be kept simple.

I suggest that the single button drops all existing troops in the army camps, and all spells. A "use with care" button. You would then get what you thought you were asking for.

Quite serious. Rude, as in blunt, and unwelcoming. A "new spawn" invited by the game itself to come here, does so, and makes a reasonable post, and is rewarded with a cool rebuff that says to go away and read reams of poorly written "stickies" (he probably doesn't know what that even means, it is jargon), and maybe then come back.

Some of the ideas are hopeless and too frequently requested. Others, such as "Stop the zapping of my DE storage" proved that the stickies are not worth the space they occupy.

I would envisage the addition would appear as a one of the side scroll screens after you hit the 'army overview' button.

The 'set active army' screen would then appear the same as any standard barracks would, however it would allow the player to select all their chosen troops and how many of each, up to the maximum army camp limit.

Once they have their army layout selected, they could then save this much the same as they would there bases, and subsequently hit a 'train army' button which would either equally distribute the time amongst all barracks or simply have a single timer that is a calculation of troops/barracks.

e.g. a player has a total army camp capacity of 180 and 4 barracks.
They regularly fight with 12 giants (24mins), 6 wallbreakers (12mins) and 113 archers (just over 43 mins) for an approx total train time of 79 mins.

By saving this configuration and then hitting the train army button the training time load can either be evenly distributed over the 4 barracks or a single timer coukd appear in the army overview screen or indeed on just one or all barracks.. that part is up to sc to determine, but the point is that there is little value in scrolling through barracks however many times a day one raids and tediously punching in the same configuration time and again. As for the use with care you mentioned, I would suggest the button is only able to be activated with empty army camps, the primary purpose for it after all is to streamline raiding for both regular and time conscious players.

Again, i appreciate any feedback and would love to see this idea gain some traction despite its status on the stickies.

I have to agree, the short "read sticky thread, thanks" can be seen as blunk, and cold, even if not intending to be.

Text can be read with a different tone of voice, which can skew the intended meaning drastically. I try to be sensitive to that, but like heck I'm an expert on it, let alone perfect.

I've known that for years, and it still hasn't prevented some really bad miscommunications or bad replies.

It is something you need to read before you post requests.
