Right now there are indicators for those who gem heavily. Anyone who has all their level 6 troops is clearly a gemmer as there hasn't been enough time to upgrade them all yet. Another indicator is very high hero levels as they are also relatively new.

We allow/encourage/require people to gem builders and that's it. Builders are a great investment. But anything beyond builders is generally frowned upon. We farm so we don't have to gem. Heavy gemming goes against our ideology.

We consider builders a one time purchase. But gemming often is a long term strategy people use where they spend X amount of money a week or month on the game. It is that type of playing that we do not allow. We often have to turn down some amazing bases. But in the end it's worth it for the type of culture we wish to instill in our network of clans..

I don't think it's fair to say anything beyond builders is generally frowned upon. Let me be more clear on the subject. You may gem your BK and Queen (just to level 1) and this is the ONLY time you may gem resources. Also Ex does not mind if you buy a pile (500 gems) a month to speed up the odd building and/or boost barracks or gem troops when the loot is particularly good.

It's all about becoming very strong at a minimal cost at Ex.

I am a clan leader of my own clan but like the idea of a clan dedicated to farming....and want to see what you guys are up to...

You look pretty solid and would be welcomed in our ranks..however if you plan just to stay for a little bit that might be an issue as space is at a premium in our clans and we really are looking for strong permanent members. What I would suggest is this. Come visit us in exploitation and talk to the people and see what you think. My guess is you may be staying longer than just for that visit
