We're in a tough war and our opponents three starred one of our maxed th8 and th9 using Gowipe.
As long as I know, Gowipe only 2 Stars a base, so its weird.

So you say gowipe is a 2 star strategy because you haven't seen a good one, maybe your clan is a 2 star gowipe clan and haven't seen a great attack..
A pro gowiper can 3 star with ease a th 8 and some th 9s.
It is considered a 2 star strategy because there is literally few great gowipers out there..
Most players just spam gowipe which means golem here, golem there and then the rest behind it, heal here and rage over there, and wait for that 2 star and if lucky a 3 star.
Those bad players are not even good at other great strategies like goho, golaloon, lavaloon and resort to gowipe for the safe 2 star because they don't care to learn other strategies as well, they're just happy to get that 2 stars for their clan, what a conformity!.
But yea at th 9 gowipe becomes less effective because of lvl 7 teslas against lvl 3 pekkas, so other strats like goho, golaloon, and lavaloon become more efficient.
In my clan our th 8s only do hog raids to destroy th 8s with ease. Our th 9s use those other efficient strategies mentioned above
It can be. But as I learnt, Gowipe was a one-two star. Maybe, I didn't see any good Gowipe. Therefore, I was surprised to see a three star on Gowipe.
Sorry.Probably, because more people prefer GoHo, AQ Walk, lavaloonions etc. etc. So I did not see very good of GOwipes.. ~~ But anyways, it was a good attack 'D
