Disconnect button

Im constantly seeing the stupid wifi loading sign and it just sitting there for 5-10 min trying to figure out to restart the game. There needs to be some sort of connection disconnect button so I can restart the game instead of waiting on it just for it to restart anyways. Probably has something to do with how they made it so people who disconnect accidentally don't get attacked right away. But the button will fix it plain and simple. If there's another way to restart the game I'd love to know!

Happens to me from time to time,its your WiFi connection not the game. There's no need for a disconnect button just back out of the game so it asks you if you want to quit. Then log back on
, that's what I usually and it should help.

Yea I do that but it just goes back to the game being frozen in wifi searching mode. I have to wait like a 5 min for it to reset maybe longer. Just be easy if I didn't have to wait for it automatically do it.

That is an issue with your device, and isn't anything the CoC app can do.

To put in such a feature would require that CoC also has access to your connection settings, and that is going to raise some red flags among paranoid people looking for malintent in programing.

You'll just have to leave the game and manually adjust or reconnect things via your device settings.

How about just close the game on your phone and start it again? No need for SC to add a disconnect button.

Pretty sure I said I did that yet goes back to the game in search mode. Don't see the big deal in a log off button. It doesn't hurt any part of the game. It's easy to log out when you have multiple accts. Also this is on Apple if that makes a difference. I only have multiple accts on android cause Apple is a B with trying to have more than one.

Your connection is at fault, not the app. Sometimes (before the recent Android OS update) I had to flip Airplane Mode on and off (aka, turn off all connections, and back on as a 'reboot') to get things cleared up sometimes. Others, I had to just wait and inevitability reload because cell tower breathing would just disconnect me for half a minute for no apparent reason. After the OS update, the software handling bad connections got better, and just had to wait things out and not have to reload CoC or whatnot.

And as I said, it takes special permission for an app to disconnect things, and I can't see that being given to something that is just a game.

Ahh the airplane mode I'll give that a shot next time. I imagine it should work. I tried on off on wifi but that didn't work. Cell data disconnect and that should definitely do it. Thanks!

Usually that's a connection problem, and all you can do is just wait, get closer to the source, or buy faster Internet. If you have to, just go into settings and do it manually, or do it from quick settings if you're on Android 5.0. If you have it almost always then you probably need faster Internet. No need to have them do a button for it as WarrenJames said.

I know this works on Apple devices, I'm not sure about Android...
