Since the update it is much more difficult to get a shield. This makes requesting war troops much more difficult as I (and many others) tend to do it well before we plan to attack while we had a fresh shield.
Now there is no way to ensure you will still have your war troops later in the day since you can't get a shield needed to protect them.
that's why they sell village guard for 10gems
I completely agree there should be a cc lock that locks troops from being released when your base is attacked. Sometimes i may have a war troop request go unfilled for several hours bc clanmates are working, living their lives, etc.. And village guard would only be useful to keep troops protected if i knew exactly when my cc got filled and i was prepared to attack. Push notifications for cc being filled was another good idea tossed around before that would work.
Yes if your going to attack in the next 2h. I often request war troops before going to work and attack after work 9-10h after. Worked fine when I could get a 12h shield whenever I want. Doesn't work with a 2h village guard.Originally Posted by sorryfortherain
