Fresh TH9 getting NOTHING to raid anymore SUPER depressing

Hey.
I recently upgraded to TH9.
In TH8 was used to Barch/BAM (mostly with 25 goblins in the mix) in Gold 3 league. I was super happy there. I had an average of OVER 200k Gold per raid. I didnt even look for Elex since my storages were ALWAYS full while barching!! Very often 300k+ raids, sometimes 150k raids where i only had to use a third or half of my army.... I wasnt searching for long either. When i had to search for more than 3 minutes i acutally got impatient already.

Now as a new TH9 i farmed for several HOURS!! Or better said i TRIED to farm. I went down to silver 3 and back up to gold. I got a SINGLE ONE RAID that was comparable to an average of my TH8 times (acutally even that was under 200k gold) I did some boosts. But all i was doing was clicking next for MINUTES until i got depressed und just townhall sniped. I farmed 6 million Elex yesterday with just TH sniping!!! YEAH I USED UP HOURS FOR THAT
And in all that time no bases to raid!!! Im not even getting raidable bases with loot in the storages!!!! The only bases ig et with 200k+ of each are high TH9s or TH10s where i could barely get maybe ONE storage with my WHOLE army!!! I switched to Gibarch still no chance to even get 2 storages!!! AND WHAT WOULD THAT GET ME??? someone with 200k of each where i could get 2 of each storage (what i acutally cant do mostly) would not even get me 100k of each!! The eley would barely pay for my army and to get enough gold for an upgrade i had to farm DAYS! While doing this i would even be dropping trophies!

Playing this game was fun for me as a TH8. Recently I had some extra time at my hands since i was just studying and whenever an army was raidy i made a short break for a few minutes to use it! I was attacking an average of over 2 times an hour and got very good loot.
Now im witing for my army and im clicking next until i get frustrated and snipe some townhalls.

Im really thinking about quitting this game since i see no way to farm anymore! I cant boost 5 times everyday just to get a single upgrade. The sweet part at this game is that you can play it all day while only using up a few minutes everytime you attack. It isnt any fun to press Next for half an hour to get 150k Gold ....

I really need some good advice on what to change guys. I dont want to farm with super expensive/long trained armies.

Get your troops to level 6 and find a "sweet spot" for loot. Plus, the update just happened, so it'll be a while till you see inactive bases again.

My new plan is to trophy push up to crystal or masters and see if i can get some more loot there.

Going through the same thing you are. New th10 too. All the matchups with loot o see are max th10/11 with th9 troops i couldnt get loot from them if i tried. We'll have to wait for sc to patch this

Its really SO depressing right now. Im struggling to get raids where i can get enough elexier to just pay for the army im using. I really have no idea what i should do to raid right now.
Barch doesnt work anymore AT ALL. Gibarch is what im doing right now trying to get some trophies and at least pay for my army.
Compared to my TH8 experience this really isnt fun AT ALL. Im used to make easy 200k of each resource with an army that costs me about 50k not using any spells.
The only thing i can still farm quite like before is DE.

What i dont understand the most is that as TH8 i was OFTEN raiding dead TH9 bases with barch. I estimate when i did 10 raids i had 7 TH8s 2 TH7s and 1 TH9. in the last days i didnt find a SINGLE ONE TH9 dead base that gave me any loot.

SUMMARY!!

I just read a lot of forum threads from other people having the same problem as me. And I have to say i think this game is really ruined now.
Im someone who really plays A LOT! Im studying most of the day and whenever my phone says my army is ready to go i do a raid. I search for 1-5 mins do my 2-3 mins raid (takes 4-10 mins total) and then im training a new army (takes 20-40 mins). It was fun. I progressed every day. My storages filled up during the day. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL.
Now I still played a lot the last some days but what did I get? During the time I normally spend to completely fill up my 6mio Gold I now only make 1-2 Mio Gold. Elex wasnt ever important for me because i always had it full and when i upgraded something for Elex it filled upr eally quick afterwards. I acutally ignored it. NOW im farming all day and I ONLY try to go for Elex!!! ALL I DO IS TRY TO FARM ELEX not looking at gold or DE AT ALL!!! And what do I gain??? ZEROO!!! LITERALLY ZERO!!! I played two three hour sessions today where i attacked whenever my army was ready even used 3hours of boost today AND boosted my Elexiercollectors and i gained ZERO elexier!!! Im exactly where i was this morning when i started! ZERO progress ZERO fun most of the time was spend clicking next! If i didnt snipe every signle townhall that i found outside with my heroes i would even have LOST elexier!!!! Remember i was ONLY looking for Elex it was my main target!!!!!!

But the really sad part is this! When a player who raids about 20-30 times a day CANT get a SINGLE upgrade done in a day HOW ARE PLAYERS WHO PLAY LITTLE DOING IT???? Most players only raid a few times every day!!! They would even loose more resources from being attacked then they are gaining from their attacks!!!! There would be ZERO absolutely ZERO progress!!!!

What does supercell think i should do about this???? Should i farm only DE then make an only DE army to farm elex??? Then when i got elex and no more DE i can built an elexier army to farm back the DE????? SERIOUSLY!!! If i didnt spend money on this and wast really playing that much lately i would have deinstalled the game already!!!!
Its not fun at all anymore????

What I think supercell might want:
The TH11 upgrade acutally is a joke for me!! What is new?? ONE Hero ok thats cool ONE new defenses cool stuff too but then THREE new defense buildinsg other than that. ONE measly little defense upgrade (Wizardtower) And TWO lab upgrades ????? THATS ALL FOR A WHOLE TH LEVEL????
Farming for casual players is dead!!! Farming for players dedicated to the game like me got SUPER FRUSTRATING!!!
SO WHAT DO YOU WANT SUPERCELL??? Did they decide to not work on the game anymore and now they want to squeeze out as much money as they can before they finally lay down the project?? Like players who are playing a lot now will buy some gems before they realize the game is will loose a big part of their player base?

♥♥♥♥! When the new update came out, I decided to moved up to TH10 and gem the time. I had about 2 million elixir after it was done but I've lost everything on training troops and spells and not being able to break even.
I had max troops and defenses with one level left on each wall and combined heroes of 40 something. But I've realised I can't make any more progress on troops or spell upgrade now. So I'm easing myself off the game slowly.
I've bought gems when I felt like it like almost all other players but supercell taking the option of farming is just shooting themselves in the foot. Let's see how far this takes them because I'm never spending my money on gems again even if supercell reverts to their old model.
When last I checked clash of clans had fallen from 5 to 98 on the ranking for free apps and now has a rating of 3 from 4.5!
I've already downloaded a few more games and something would soon catch my interest hopefully.

Well i tried something on an old account from a friend of mine that isnt in use anymore. I dropped down to BRONZE. Down there 80% of all bases are dead. And there frequently are bases that can be barched for 200-350k each from collectors and mines. The problem is that DE is really not looking too good down there.
