If you feel that healers are effective for you, fit your attacking style and build time constraints then keep using them. I don't know necessarily that there's an advantage or disadvantage to it. Healers take 14 spots so let's call that 3.5 wizards. Those 3.5 wizards will take more time and elixir to build than the 1 healer.

I might try incorporating a few and see how it works.

In regards to PBT this comes from Anoushka

    Personal Break Timer (PBT):

PBT is 3 hours: forced offline for 6 minutes after 3 hours cumulative online time without shield
PBT resets when gaining shield, or in other reset cases below
Buying 2-hour Village Guard from shop extends current PBT by 2 hours
PBT paused during server maintenance, but not reset

    PBT reset cases:

After defense with shield: Full PBT reset
After a defense without shield OR 6-minute PBT kickout without defense: PBT extended (+15 minutes to PBT, +15 minutes Village Guard)
After 2nd consecutive defense without shield OR 6-minute PBT kickout without defense: PBT extended (+15 minutes to PBT, +15 minutes Village Guard)
After 3rd consecutive defense without shield OR 6-minute PBT kickout without defense: Full PBT reset + Free Village Guard based on League
After 30 minutes consecutive offline time without defense: Full PBT reset (no Village Guard given)

    nice effort to help

tho u don't have to include this. the loot is in higher leagues NOT lower leagues

and u want to get 100% destruction on ur base by a higher TH every single time.

th8, 9 and 10 in our clan are in champs league making more loot than everyone else .. see if you can figure out why

    3. If you're never getting attacked or rarely getting attacked for 30% or more consider moving up in leagues.
And why should I do this? I'm not making profit, so why let people in a higher league steal what I still have?
I used to have fun with emotes.

Is that for the sole purpose of getting the maximum shield? If so the max shield kicks in at 90%.

If you're not profiting where you are and aren't getting attacked then perhaps going up in leagues will give you better loot offers, allow you to get a shield, and attack through that shield. I attack through the shield to yield more resources than I was raided for.

In general, if attacks against you aren't reaching 30% its because the armies are weak and/or the attacker bad. By moving up in league, you'll encounter folks that will grant you a shield more regularly and prevent you from being nickel and dimed to death (the dreaded attack where they get 1 or 2 storages, but leave you unshielded for the next guy to come and take more).

Also, you may be surprised at how much loot can be found at higher leagues. Stronger bases tend to be saving for bigger upgrades, and are thus more likely to have loot available to steal.

To each his own really, you're free to attack/defend in whatever league you find yourself comfortable in, but in general if you're repeatedly not getting a shield a move up may help. Just be open minded and willing to move leagues, and/or change your army composition to try new things to see what works out for you in the new Clash economy.

Thanks, Smolson and I are determined to revive the OLD forums (ironically, for the NEW clash) where people are helpful, civil, and discuss things like game mechanics, base design, farming strategies and compositions, etc. etc.

I'm still waiting for someone to post a multi-jump GiGo army farming strategy guide. One of our clans TH10's has been absolutely destroying people like this, and the raid replays he posts in chat are high comedy. Perhaps I should make one myself, but I don't have video recording capability

First of all, thank you for this post. Very good advice.

Since supercell has made two good changes:

    1) you will only be able to be seen by bases close to your th level
    2) the amount of loot is considerablly less from lower th levels

the trophy level does not matter, only in one clear case:

going to pushing leagues where players are expected to have war armies. If you are not pushing, then it does not make sense that you be there.

Here is the problem, some players are either rushed, or defenseless or having been ignoring their defenses intentionally for clan wars think by dropping trophies, they will be safe. that is not true.

Supercell made the wise decision to use only th level as the indicator whether you can see a base to attack to be seen by a base.

And for that reason, a rushed th10 base with th6 defenses will be seen by other th10 and th11 bases. And that is fair and right. Dropping to bronze will not hide that base and it should not.

So what I would focus on is upgrading defenses, not rushing at all, not manipulating clan wars, good base design, and good farming practices.

    my 2 cents.
TH11. Farming in legend the new spells. I have decided to ride the wave, manage my expectations, and take things positively. I try to find something postive or beautiful in any new thing and just embrace that. Life it too short
