Beer maker corona closing their doors after 25+ years

So after recently receiving information that consumers are putting limes in their beer corona has announced that this was not the way they intended for their beer to be drank so therefore to stop this atrocity they are forced to close their doors. Sound stupid? Yes very. But this is in essence what supercell has done. I spent $600 and hundreds of if not thousands of hours playing the game the way it was when I joined slightly over two years ago. I don't think corona would give a ♥♥♥♥ if people put anchovies in their beer so long as they enjoy it and continue to buy the product. If corona came out with a beer that was exactly the same but came with a cherry in the bottle and a note strictly forbidding people putting limes in their beverage people would quit buying their product. It shouldn't be changed if you guys wanted a game like clash of clans but played by a different set of rules you could left this game alone and created Clash2 or clash legends. We fell in love with the game we had not this current imposter.

I thought this was spam because of the title. I have the same feelings, create a new game and leave the old game alone. Then just stop updating the old game and just maintain the servers running. But I guess they didn't want to develop a new game. A friend told me CS:GO did a similar thing by adding a relatively easy to use pistol in the game. Now he and others are upset because they feel it disrupted the flow of the game.

Yes but was it intended? If not they could change it. Maybe come out with a bottle that has only a pinhole opening? Thus making it impossible for consumers to drink it with a lime in the bottle? Cause the maker didn't intend them to drink it that way?
