My strategy for wold domination:

1. OVERALL: CHEAPEST FIRST AND SPEND NOOO GEMS ON ANYTHING BUT BIG TICKET ITEMS EX: Barb King, Builder's hut
2. Upgrade TH
3. Max out collectors (GM, EC, DD)- 1 builder to gold, 1 builder to elixir or, if another builder, one to dark elixir
4. Max storage- 1 to Gold, 1 to elixir or Dark Elixir
5. Upgrade Lab and spell factory
6. Max defense- This includes traps, but not walls
7. Upgrade One barrack to unlock new troop and its upgrades
8. Upgrade troops in lab- still cheapest first
9. NOTE: VERY IMPORTANT- spend all gold on walls in current check, then upgrade...
10. The rest of your barracks
11. Army camps! (or landing crafts)
12. Then TH (or HQ)!!!

This will prevent rushing and having your base taken out super easily

If two buildings or troops have the same cost, see which ones will do more (damage, health, heal) after upgrade.
