My "adaptation" is to cease paying for gems. Trust me, they will do nothing until it hurts their pocketbooks. And it will. This is going to be a business case study taught in schools someday.
Sadly I would go back to EQ before playing the new CoC...

Adapt to what????? When do costumers in a store need to adapt. Or costumers ina company need to adapt. ITs the f***** company that needs to adapt to the DEMANDS.

I already minimized my time playing the game. I spend more time playing World of tanks. Try that one guys its fun and you dont need to spend top dollar on it.
I used to do more than 300 attacks a week. Now i do 3-4 attacks a day. The game sucks for me as it has become.
They changed the gameplay and all I am bothered about is that. I neglected the new hero, I neglected the new defense. I neglected anything else that came with the update cause of the change in the gameplay. They didnt allow me to have fun anymore. They didnt allow me to progress stress free. I dont need a game that put stress on me. The game just doesnt workfor me anymore. SOrry.
1.) Supercell already has 2 other games for players that are less active: Hay Day and Boom beach. Clash of clans simply requires some activity.
2.) You can still play the game without attacking, chat with your clan mates and do some clan wars if this is what makes the most fun for you, but dont expect to proceed any further in the game if you dont attack at all. I am doing a no attack challenge with o e account and even no defense at all, so I get hit much harder than you ever would and still made it to lavahounds and loons/wizards lvl5 and in 1 week I will have lvl6 loons and start th11. Everything is possible, it just takes longer.

But you're not. You're still playing. You're still on the forums.
It still looks like clash...troops still deploy like clash....base looks the same...
It's like going to a restaurant and asking for your favorite dish, and you're brought out you're dish with a new sauce. Instead of trying the sauce, immediately throwing it at the waiters face, demanding to speak to the manager, and further embarrassing yourself in front of everyone present. And when you're done, ordering seconds to go, only to curse out the bartender on your way out.
