I need help! For my rushed th9 any tips?

I didn't play coc for 6 months
a lot of clans have been declining me due to my base
its harder than finding a job

it really takes a lot of time to upgrade things cos a lot of
people are attacking my th (9+ overnight) due to the new shield system i cant earn millions of gold properly so im upgrading my walls 1st

im also thinking to spend my 1k gems for an archer queen so my base wont look rushed ( is that a good idea??)

What should i upgrade first?? ( in order list )

(a cheap attck strategy would help)

I made a post about being rushed a while back. It's not impossible to make a comeback! Just keep at it.
On that post you will find good replies as to what to get done first, but my suggestion as an expert on the un-rushing part of the game is to either max out your defenses in order of price or to go at it as follows:
The defense group (mortars, or wiz towers, or teslas, or archer towers etc.) with the least amount of towers, i.e you can only have 4 teslas, is the one you upgrade first.

To make it clearer: Get the smallest group and upgrade it constantly until you reach the max for your TH level. Start with the smallest groups and leave the air sweepers for last, cos lolairsweeper. 6 months ago I would have said ♥♥♥♥ walls, but now after the update people will want to storm your base for phat lootz, I say spend everything you cannot protect on either walls or traps, depending on how many free builders you have.

Leave towers and cannons for last. Make x-bows and royals kind-of-importantish, and raid cheap and constant. That is the key! The game gets reaaaally fun once you learn to raid.

For elixir: Army camps army camps and army camps... Forget anything else for now.

My army comp is 16 giants, 8 wallbreakers, 89 goblins and 55 archers. I would scale down the archers and goblins to your army camp level, but try to keep the giants and the WB constant. I find it a fast and cheap army to train.

For spells I take a jump, 2 heals, 2 rages and a poison.

Its ok bro.... sometimes it happens ..... now heres wat u want to do... follow me.!!

1. As your base is TH9, many people use flying units... so... FIRST UPGRADE ALL AIR DEFENCES...

2. As u rushed to upgrade ur TH.... its absolutely difficult to upgrade walls..... so.... KEEP WALLS FOR LATER.... but atleast try to upgrade your walls for lvl 6 or 7..

3. In this stage.... dont worry about trophies.... just concentrate on loot... try to TRAIN TROOPS OF LOW COST and ATTACK BASE WITH MORE PROFIT...

4. Use your gold for upgradeing defences and elixer for upgradeing troops... in your level.... TROOPS ARE IMPORTANT....

And just farm your attacks, I know it seems harder now post update, but it is possible, as I am doing it on a super rushed townhall 10. Just use GiBarch or GoBarchs, work on your elixer troops first and if you are low enough in trophies you will only need to worry about being barched, so AD wont be an issue.
Dont worry about gemming your queen, unless you have the money to waste. Upgrade cheapest to most expensive, best way to start.

You'll probably have to spend a long while in Teslas for they are cheap and take ages: That's ok. Lol.

No need to spend gems to get your AQ. Getting 40k DE isn't too hard if you burst raid and aim for more than you can lose on defense.
