[ONE & ONLY thread] Cannot donate to War Castles, game crashes (known bug)

I could not donate to the war cc without the game shutting down.
After reading some posts here, I gemmed my lab project and the 4 builders I had working and I was able to then donate the items to the war cc. Hope this info helps. The builders and lab project were working while the update occurred.

Edit: Dark Barracks or Dark Spell could be possible problem...

Items I gemmed to fix:

Builder #1 ---- Dark Barracks
Builder#2 ---- Dark Spell Factory
Builder #3 ---- Air Def Tower
Builder #4 ---- Seeking Air Mine
Lab Project --- Heal


Edit: I went back and started another lab project, and it still let me donate to war cc. I then started a builder on a project, and I could still donate to the war cc. So maybe it was the lab and/or builders that were tasked with a job prior to update?

did you have a Tesla in update when you had the problem ?

Because I have the same probleme and i have 1 tesla and 1 Black barracks in update.

I had a dark rax, archer tower and tesla all in the middle of upgrading prior to the patch. I gemmed the telsa and tried... still crashed. then i gemmed the dark rax and it fixed it. So I think it is the dark rax upgrade that is causing the issue. either that or dark rax + telsa.

They know there is a problem with so many reports, just haven't been able to replicate it yet.

Was your war started pre or post update?

Another user said he had multiple accounts, one could donate, one couldn't. Hoping that means it's something with an individual account - something upgrading, researching, perhaps having a donated spell in your inventory, something has to be causing this. Any details you have might help figure it out.

I am one of those with multiple accts and only happening with my TH9 acct. I started was AFTER update, no troops or spells in my CC. I do have 4 builders busy at the moment.

Builder 1 = Tesla 6>7
Builder 2 = Dark Spell Factory 2>3
Builder 3 = BBK 8>9
Builder 4 = Air Defense 6>7

I also have archers upgrading in the Lab, they are upgrading from 5>6.

There is definitely a common factor with a few of us and that is a builder working on a Tesla. Maybe that is the culprit. It's almost 1200 gems to finish my Tesla so I don't know that I can finish it early to positively identify that as the issue. Hope this info helps.

No, I was updating an Air Def but I don't think it matters...I think if you had builders/lab stuff going on prior to the update then you get kicked out when you donate..

OK, got some good feedback going, still trying to close in on the exact cause. This is from one user: I am not sure if the lab research or one of the 4 busy builders were causing this.

For you guys who still can not donate, can you tell me what is being researched and upgraded, and was it started pre-post update. Thanks!

Everything for me was started before the update with the exception of war.

Just checked on a clan members base with same issue. His builders are working on a tesla, AT, DE storage and dark barracks. Seems like barracks is the key.
