Hi. I'm at TH6 (for those of you stalking me to post a trolling accusation on all my threads, I upgraded it from TH5 to TH6) and think I'm probably making serious mistakes with my attacking.

My main army is 25 Barbarians, 15 Archers, 5 Goblins, 10 Wall Breakers, 9 Giants and 3 Balloons +1 Lightning spell. (Am saving elixir to upgrade the camps more.)

Usually, when I attack even if the base seems easy, I end up expending almost my entire attacking army to get less than 20% damage (usually under 10%) and I always seem to have all my troops eliminated before I can even get 1 star.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks very much

You are not using your giants to tank for your other troops. Drop some troops on the unprotected buildings. Then drop some giants. Wait for the mortar to fire, then send in a bunch of wall breakers. Send in your archers and barbarians while the giants have the defenses distracted.

you should upgrade your giants. For now you can use barbarian and archers only. About half of your army camps can be barbarians and the other half can be archers. Then you can circle them around the base. You can watch some youtube videos that show you how to do that. I also saw that you dropped your lightning spell on the exlir storage. You should drop it on the defenses or on enemy clan castle troops after you pull them out. Dropping lighting spells on storages won't do anything.

Thanks. The thing that usually happens to me is that the wall breakers open up a small gap in the wall but when I deploy troops next to it usually they go for the buildings outside
