Yes I am using the farming base version, the attacker could get to my DE using gibarch, in Gold I.
I am mostly having TH8 defense and one lvl1 X-Bows though. The update happened and I couldn't save enough loot to upgrading the defense to TH9 level.

Don't worry tho, I'm near sure that it will be better after you get a little high level.

Also use the base in clan wars, I am guaranteeing a good performance in war.

After using your TH8 layout, I got to TH9 and made this layout.

I built TH9 layout with all buildings and some gems.

After first war, I got attacked 6 times in one war, got 3 starred only by a TH10

Sadly i got kicked from the clan due to bad performance due tp hero up grading.

I also need a level 6 plus clan, I use GoHo and have maxed th8
And gemmed most TH9 things maxed xbows.

Keep up tue good work OP.

Umm Altezza, I that's not even my layout, It seems to me you've just add a random base, have you seen the screenshots?

That looks like a modification of FZ TH8, lol :P

because i only get attacked with giants etc.?
does it also work properly against giants and hogs?

Yeah, modification of the FZ 8 base mixed with FZ 9 since you don't have 8.5 base and I do not have Xbows or enough defenses to do FZ 9. You recommend I just copy the FZ 8 and randomly place the extra walls (since I'm TH9 with all traps/walls)?

Altezza for an 8.5, I say keep the FZ 9 Wall design, and replace xbow sp9ts with buder huts. Itll work perfect.

This will be a temporary solution by the way as I am releasing a new version (including an 8.5 version) in a week or so.

This base has awesome hog pathing, there is an image in 'How it works' section.

Hog pathing means hogs going in a predictable manner which enables defender to strategically place spring traps and double giant bombs.

Hog pathing is also applicable to giants.

Itll work beautiful in silver league.

sorry got another question:

is the lower xbow not too far outside? is it possible to swap the lower xbow with the AD next to it?

It seems pretty solid as a farming base, but as a war base I'm pretty sure it can be hogged pretty easily by a decent attacker, at least with the current trap setup.
A kill squad with a jump on the cannon between 11 and 12 will easily kill the Queen and will almost surely take out the nearby sweeper and xbow thus nullifying both dgb spots. Then its just a matter of hog deployment. Perhaps tweak the dgb locations to be further away from the Queen...
Other than that the base should hold up decently against other attack strats. Farming setup looks pretty good though...
