    Not a bad line of thinking.

    Do you mean if you win a defense at 40%, you get bonus based on the remaining 30% to 70?

    If league loot bonuses are up for grabs for either defender or attacker, it could shut up the people crying about how much loot income was cut by cutting out the TH sniping.

    I still prefer a defence reward that isn't purely loot, since it just seems... off.. gameplay wise in a game like this.

    At first sight, the idea of the two players fighting over the league bonus seems fair. But with a closer look, there's a problem. Since the amount of active bases with TH outside keep dropping quickly. Most of them 'd find themselves in silver or bronze leagues after one or two days. It wouldnt be too long before there's no active bases with TH outside anymore. And the current dead bases are being removed out of the pool day by day by SC. Then will come the point when most of the dead bases have their TH inside. What'd happen then? Almost every attack would be over 30% troops count. Which leads to the fact that every attack made by players will inject league bonus into the system, either for the attacker or the defender. And that amount is way huger then the amount injected while TH sniping still existed. Simply because back then, it was not like any attack would inject league bonus into system. And the league bonus are bigger now. Result in, err, well, now it comes to economy's problem. Since it's not my field, im just not gonna go too far with it. But we all know (assumingly hehe) that if there'r too much money or too less money rolling, then it's not a healthy thing for the economy. And Supercell simply just wont let it happen.

    But im not against the idea of using League bonus as a reward. Actually i made some posts on the forum about the defensively winning reward. I think the idea is pretty solid. Since it'd satisfy both sides. Players get something back to cover the lost from the old TH sniping system, also make us more interested in defending. Supercell get what they want: make players to climb as high as they could. The thing left is to figure out some ways or numbers, like percentance of league bonus gained after winning a defense so it wouldnt hurt the economy, while not too low so it wouldnt matter (unfornaturely it is in many leagues atm).
