Spring Traps push back heavy enemys? Please vote!

I think, spring traps are often useless if you are th8 or above, especially in clan war, as there are many heavy tanking troops like golems, pekkas or the heroes that trigger them out without any use. I have two options how to improve them:

    1. Troops that cannot be kicked away by springtraps, won't trigger them, so the trap is ready to punish the other troops.
    2. Springtraps push heavy troops 2 tiles back.

Maybe increase re-arm cost from 400 to 500 gold? But I couldn't afford that.

Please vote on the poll, just want to see your opinion, and comment! Thx

EDIT: Frequently requested option to make spring traps better: 1-2 second stun for heavy troops

Springs are useful for countering hogs. No need for a buff.

Nothing is to OP for springs, so then attackers would be like "Place Pekka/Golem."1 sec later," Pekka/golem FLIPPED!"

They should stay as they are because it makes the most logical sense. If it hypothetically were real the trap would be triggered but the troop would be to heavy to be affected.

Only for poor hog launching, like releasing all from the same spot spawning a dense column. Hogs rule. Except if there are inferno towers or a central queen or an unlureable clan castle.

I have always found it odd that large troops are completely immune to it. Probably should be stunned for a second.

As in theory these large troops are waking over it and breaking it, as such the ground would collapse in somewhat.

Not necessarily. It can ruin a surgical hog.

That's why I prefer a broad front, initially low density, rain of hogs. I gave up trying to out-think my target.

If the trap was real, option 2, the push back option, makes sense, too. The troops are too heavy to get kicked away, but the elastic spring will push them back.
