Update is particularly bad for TH8?

Am well over the cap on DE, and if a competent 9 finds me first I get steamrolled, but most of my log is.... Wait, I'm getting déjà vu, is this the matrix or something? I feel like the oracle- answering your reply before you wrote it.

The question is, tyler4, would you still have knocked over the vase if you'd actually read and understood my post?

Than you are lucky as heck, every other near max TH8 I know is getting hit up hard from silver up through crystal 1. Too strong for TH8s and TH9s will steamroll you with any comp. I have a BK10/AQ15 th9 account and I routinely 100% all the TH8s I come across with barcher (normally have to use 2 spells to guarantee 100% if it is a stronger TH8).

A 9 has to be embarrassingly bad to not steal your loot.

I am getting totally raped by th9s, and only 1 th10 has hit me since the update. The issue I'm experiencing are the th9s that bust in steal what they can and quit at 29% like jerks. Got hit like that nine times in one hour on Friday before a th8 hit me and gave me a shield. Seems like this update brought out the petulant children that were told no candy, so they are going to make everyone else's life miserable while they have their temper tantrum. If this continues I will not have the resources to continue to war or even play. Had I been given a shield my loses would be considerably less.

That sucks, but it is a viable strategy to employ. They have a right to attack as they see fit. Plus, you are winning trophies on a defense. Have you not read the blurb that often appears on the loading screen -- something to the tune of "Fight for those trophies!"
