We've always thought that the 2nd troops queued only starts training when we deploy troops of equal camp space on the battlefield to "make room", but that's not the case.

Try it if you are using Giants in your attacks.

5 mins cook time for giants
5 mins of SEARCHING or NEXTING (for better results for confirmation).
Let's say you attacked on the fifth minute, deployed all troops, and used all 3 mins and 30 seconds of your attack time = 8 mins and 30secs have gone by.

Going back to your village you will have 8 giants, not 4, already in your CAMPS while the 3rd queued giant is well into the seconds of completion.

Judging by this, the search/next time is counted towards training troops, PROVIDED you attacked.

Hi, once you go out to raid all troops, heroes and spells start cooking as if the camps etc were empty, when you get back what was built over time remains up to the available space - it's like a top up over time kind of thing. This is the way it has worked as far back as I can remember
Now retired from YouTube, feel free to say hi I always like a good chat
I still run my twitter account it's @daddy_clash (although I rarely tweet)

SC has no interest in fixing bunnies, bots, or mods....that takes a lot of people(payroll) to fix. Quite frankly it's not a good business decision. Players don't quit because of unfair mods. This update addresses NONE of that.

But players do quit when the game isn't fun anymore.(hint hint....PBT FAIL)
Believe me, I've been down that road too, looking for other games, but clash is just way better than the rest and still end up logging in. I've deleted numerous games already but clash is still on my device...go figure.

With regards to bunnies, it's not a simple fix. This is every game companys' nightmare but you have to address this issue as discreetly as possible. Make the hāckers "unaware" of the changes which is why this forums forbids to discuss it.

OP, I wouldn't waste your time trying to justify things to the complainers.

"Bring back farming" - I'd love for someone to explain how farming is gone? Just because you can't hide your loot behind a free shield anymore doesn't mean farming is gone. People still need to upgrade and raiding and farming is how the majority of us will do it.

"The PBT sucks" - I'm on the fence with this one. Really, very few people consistently used their 6 hour PBT, and 3 hours should be enough for you to clash, log off for half an hour and come back on if you want to. On the first day this seemed to work fine, I played for longer than 3 hours and wasn't kicked. Yesterday however, I played LESS logged off for over an hour three times, and when I came on for a little session at night, got kicked... I think the timer/log may need improved.

When I first read the plans for the update I was bemused, angry and thought it was the end. I then listened to Jonas' interview and it all made sense. I don't know why supercell didn't convey it better to begin with.

Since the update I have been attacked TWICE and shielded once, which was still a failed attack. I was an 800k plus offer for the first 36 hours of the update, however only lost 150k total combined across the two attacks and 50 dark. I put on some upgrades yesterday so I'm now a far less attractive target.

I've went from Gold 2, 3 days ago, to Masters 2 today. Majority of troop drops on me, and two failed attacks. I've decided to just raid where I am and the loot has been fantastic. Juicy targets that would normally have been free shielded are out in the open.

"But once they start getting beaten they won't be" - yes and no. These bases are available because only a small number of clashers have the skill and power to beat them. I'll roll in, loot them, and them they will more than likely build up,their loot from doing what I done to them to weaker players, and weaker players won't be able to loot them, and it will take another powerful, player to attack them.

Yes things have changed. Yes it's changed the way we have clashed. During all the pre update threads I saw someone say people are only unhappy because 'easy mode' was being taken away. I didn't agree with his opinion at the time as I was on the side of why change what's not broken, but following all the information relax eased, chat on the forums, and playing the update, I now side with him. Easy mode has been taken away. People can rightly no longer hide behindfree shields. You are going to lose loot. People will walk over your base till you find a right league to survive in.

It's not going to be as hard as everyone thinks to keep a hold of loot. Design your base better. I was in masters 2 for up half a day as an 800k offer and ZERO attacks. I was expecting leading into this update to be losing 400-800k per day. So far in three days I've lost 150k. Find your sweet spot.

Remember bugs with ios/android generally aren't bugs that makes the device completely unusable by majority of users. PBT is basically making the game unplayable for 1 hr every 3 hrs. I don't think thats the intended purpose of PBT but its what it is... on top of the bugs too where a lot of people are getting PBT when they aren't suppose to.

That isn't even the only game breaking bugs, there are units freezing and its happening a lot vs any bases with double stacked walls.

War loot being nerf'd due to new weight scaling, which wasn't really well thought out given the "war win bonus" now instantly drops for pretty much everyone while attacks will actually be slightly more expensive (i.e. extra DE spell). Also the match making will be quite messed up given the limited weight th11 have. You will see clans without th10s matched up vs th11 if the system isn't changed. I.e. current war we are facing a not very skilled clan (we beat them last time and even with the advantage, the war is close this time, basically a gowipe clan but its th10 vs th9 gowipes) but its 1 th11, 6 th10s vs 3 th10s and their #6 is actually pretty much the same weight as our #1. A TH11 that was a max th10 + all new th11 building only has 93k weight (im guessing his weight BEFORE the update was actually more than it is now, heroes and walls aren't max). Side note they also happen to have more th9, th8s, and a dless th10 to boot. So the war on paper was pretty stacked against us (again since they are a gowipe clan, it'll be close, it all depends on our limited atks vs their th10s/th11s and rather or not they can 3 star our th9s with th10 gowipe).

Basically a patch is suppose to introduce new features and fix problems/bugs. Supercell hasn't fixed many problems (at least not war match making) but created a ton more bugs. I wonder if the hero/tesla bug has been fixed yet... that bug has been on going for at least 6+ months. If anything this patch seems rushed before xmas just to try to gain additional revenue. Clearly given the number of bugs, testing was not done nearly as well as it should've been.
With so many devices running whatever platforms you can expect bugs to arise and perhaps on some devices, their issues can never be solved. I'm on IOS 5.1.1 and I've never had problems.

I can honestly understand them but they act like it's the end of the world..you know what I mean?

"Fix it or I'm quitting"...yep, I was a kid once too but not a spoiled brat, and I know how it feels when someone takes your candies away...
