I am a maxed TH10 reluctantly waiting to press the TH11 button. Since the upgrade was rolled out, I have played in all 3 levels of Crystal and Masters and my conclusions are these:
1> The first several hours were diamond-showers, dead bases, TH snipes, loot galore and what not. But these have since dried up significantly.
2> I haven't been attacked a single time since the update despite having FULL storages all the time, weird that may sound
3> The shield, PBT and everything is too complicated for the casual gamer.
4> Loot has totally dried up across Crystal and Master leagues. How does SC expect people to keep up with the expensive upgrades ? And if the loot is so bad, how does SC expect people to make expensive golems and lavas every time they go on a raid?
5> Lavas and golems every single attack! SC has made a meal of this update by transforming multi playing wars into clan wars!
6> Good old Barching is gone except on dead bases.
7> Unless SC comes up with concrete, prompt plans to fix the mess, this week will be a disaster.
Absolute stalemate.

Btw, maxed TH10 - Level 155 today - 40/40 Royals. Should I even bother pressing the upgrade?

Yes, there are maxed TH10s with 400k/400k gold/elixir in the Masters but to get all that (assuming one succeeds), you have spend an equal amount of elixir and DE training spells and troops and endure an incredibly long training time. Makes no sense doing it over and over again.

You should absolutely start the upgrade.

You have 2 weeks to cancel, download another game or just simply go outside and enjoy the sunshine. I am in the same spot as you

Tried doing a few raids in Gold, and it is so much better than in Crystal and Masters..

Why are you complaining about loot if you have full storages?

Seriously, this happens after every update. Everyone is farming at the same time, so loot dries out.

I had full storages before the update. The question is not of how much I have atm, but rather how much I can make with a reasonable gametime without gemming.

Never this bad. Not for the last two years I've been playing. The fundamentals have changed, and not many other than fanboys or insta-gemmers are happy.
