Personally I pay more attention to the new people posting than the old vanguard as people are feeling compelled to log on to the forum.
There does seem to be a flight to the bottom leagues. In the last 24 hours I have done 57 successful defences and have only been hit once by a decent army. I am a max th10 and am gobsmacked how many th10 are now in silver - I feel sorry for the lower guys because they are getting rolled over and over. League bonuses are just not cutting it so ppl are looking for full bases - how are the lower guys supposed to protect themselves.

Just think about it .. Since supercell basically force you to gain trophies now .. Only the worst most inactive bases naturally stay in low silver leagues , or atleast that's my idea of why I do silver farming

That's only because of those ♥♥ changes/fixes/whatever u wanna call this mess.
Everyone was fine with the way CoC was from 2012-2015 but instead of keeping it up they decided to ruin the fun for HELLA LOTS OF PLAYERS (if you're not one of them then congratulations u are a loser)

Which is exactly my point. So many people have made accounts just to complain about the update. It goes to show how bad it made their CoC experience. Personally I'm currently fine with the update, but with so many fresh people speaking out about their displeasure for the PBT System, Shielding, and Loot, it's going to affect everyone negatively in the long run if there's no change to PBT and looting (whether it be from matching making raids, league loot bonus, collectors, and clan wars)

Considering most players will not spend gems to upkeep their storage capacities.

This might be one of the most sensible things said in this thread...the forums is what...ill be generous and say 1% of all who play coc...1 person who creates a forum acct to announce he is done...is followed by 100-200 who just leave...this is a big deal

This would make a lot of sense if it wasnt for the fact the Supercell came out and stated they got feedback from literally a dozen or so players on what they would like to see. So we can take the ratio of a couple hundred at least on here vs a dozen or so and see that you are kind of wrong.

i would agree but I am seeing loads of decent bases down there now - I am fairly active and the number of single troop drops on my base to drop down leagues in the last day is staggering. I am doing farming down there and don't think ppl would consider my base one of the worst or inactive ( biggusbobbus, leader of elite smash if you want to check it out).

I'm with the OP - I've had the game since July 31 2013. The day witches were released. I've seen a LOOOOT of ♥♥♥♥, but this is the worst. I was planning my retirement and decided to postpone it just for this update - well look what goo that did. Oh, and to those who will say it's all the fresh spawns complaining… Look how many posts you have and when you joined, look at how many posts I and many others have and when we joined. You'll see we've been through a lot, and for many senior forum vets and players to be this outraged, this dissatisfied, that shows something. If you look through my activity feed you'll see I never really responded to updates - so for me to complain THIS MUCH is something. Unless SuperSell does something, I and many other forum vets and long timers will leave.

never had much to complain about I liked the game the way it was and update here n there was fine some I liked some I didn't care for but this is too much I'm not planning on quitting but I won't be buying any gems for shields that for sure as far as pbt timer goes people need to get a job anyway who the hell has time to sit on a game for three hours balls man get a life
