    Feldy's TH10 Loot Lure • Anti-DE layout

    Hey guys! This is my first time posting a base layout design so I hope it meets your standards. I'm a Town Hall 10 that rushed, so don't mind some of the upgrades I've been working on. Yes, I know my walls are horrible. I hope this really does help you though.

    Overview:



    The general idea is to lure people into different compartments to steal the loot, but the main areas where loot is, there are multiple traps/xbows/infernos. I've used the stacked principle: Top: Town Hall, Center: Clan Castle, Bottom: Dark Elixir.


    Walls Only:



    There are 9 compartments total. One moat that allows even more destruction before troops can get to the DE storage. The two larger compartments have buildings placed strategically for wandering troops to get destroyed.


    Traps & Bombs:



    The traps and bombs are very critical for this base. Most people try to wall breaker into the walls and use giants for cheaper army raids. With the placement of the spring traps, the giants get flung out or destroyed with big bombs. Wizards typically will get the big bomb explosions. For air raids, the air bombs are placed near the core to help slaughter pesky air troops.


    NO-LURE Clan Castle Radius:



    With the new increased map, we finally get the ability to have an absolute non-lurable clan castle. There's zero way to hog lure, wall breaker lure or any other type of lure.


    Anticipated Entry Points + Splash Damage + Layered Traps:



    I must admit I worked very hard for this base to work for both air and ground, however, it is more structurally sound for ground attacks. There is the rectangle Air Defenses, but more so, there are splash damages near the major storages. Typically attacks will come in from the north or south. In doing so, there are more defenses down south. Traps are set near the dark elixir storage and core. Single bombs can be placed around the base to your liking. I prefer to scatter them out along the south side to get instant damage to troops.


    Logs:



    I've only been raided once since designing this base. It's kept the dark elixir nice and safe. The raid before (time stamped, you can tell) had zero clan castle troops from the previous raid and I was offline for more than 14 hours... so I got hit pretty hard.

    Just wanted to post and say that I really like this base design and that I'm going to give it a try. Thanks for taking the time to do the write up!

    You bet! I've only lost one other time for a shield... Other than that people are just dropping trophies on me or get 50k in loot.... I am loving it right now!

    Nice job, I like it. Only downside i see is coming from the sides with golems, which won't really happen if you are not in high leagues.

    I'll give it a try.

    The two times I've been attacked massively was with golems. They don't last long with the infernos/teslas/xbows. Typically the only amount they can take is around 165k with that strategy. Of course, I'm storing more DE than gold/elixir right now trying to get my heroes up. Gold goes into cannons/air traps.

    I really like the thought behind this base. Going to give it a try and see how it does for protecting my DE. Thanks for sharing.
