I do not understand why people trophy push?
Can someone please explain the point of trophy pushing.
l am not trolling or playing dumb, l really dont see the point of haveing a number?
Where is the return on your investment? Is it just about having a number? Why is a number important?
I play the game to biuld up. Try to make as much loot as I can to spend on upgrades.
Is the reason I dont understand, because trophy pushing is something you do when your base is maxxed?
Sometimes if you push, you can get extra gems from achievements to help unlock builders at an early stage. Of course now, it would be impossible for lower TH levels to push higher than they're supposed to due to the lack of snipes, which was what I did all the way up to Masters 1 at TH7.
I trophy push because I find sitting around in Gold and Silver league boring (just my opinion) I love the challengeOriginally Posted by Psalmbody

Some people are able to find a balance for farming at higher trophy counts due to increased win bonus. That'll be tougher now for lower THs with the patch, probably, but it's too early to say.
Yup that is the only time I did it, for the 1000 gems and later for the 2000 gems.
But what fame? Who do you brag too? Who are you in compitition with? This game does not have a good enough social or chat, to really talk to anyone other then a few clan members.
Its just a number, please explain how you find fun or meaning in a number? I could understand it more if I kept seeing the same people or knew people I was in compation with or had money riding on a bet, but the game is so big with millions of people, it seems pointless.
So no one can explain?

Lvl of your archer tower, wizard tower or anything else is also only about having a number. Why is it important ? This is a game, and everything in it is purely virtual, nothing has any value other than the one players are giving it. If you don't value trophies but do value high lvl of defenses, you should be able to understand why people think the opposite.
btw, i do value both, have a maxed base by farming and when up to 4700 tr ;-)

I run a clan of 50, most over level 100 and I NEVER force them to push - it stalls their upgrades and wastes thier resources imho.....
However common rationale -
1. Encourages/requires players to raid more challenging bases at higher levels so they become more proficient attackers.
2. Clan push prior to a recruiting drive - looks good to have folks at a high level when those are the players you are trying to attract.
3. Clan prestige - nothing more there. 'Look at us'
