Farming in Champ 3/Master 1 without heroes - possible?

Hello!
I used to GiBarch/snipe in Champs. Now those days are over.
After update, I have to get >70% destruction to get full league bonus.

TH9, maxed troops, both heroes down. I'm mostly looking for DE + league bonus.

I'm facing full TH9s and mixed TH10s with infernos, full CC, queen up. Haven't seen dead bases yet.

Is there any strategy/army comp that is reliable to get 50-70%, and have reasonable price and cooking time to become my new farming workhorse?

With new attack through shield mechanics I don't mind switching to heavier armies.

I tried different flavors of balloonion. It's inexpensive, have ~1h cook time, but it doesn't work very well without heroes. I'm struggling to get 50%.

Lavaloonion is good, works without heroes, but DE heavy and slow to cook.

Any ideas?

I'm using 2 lavas, 20 minions and the rest are ballons.
It will work great with bases with 1-2 levels below max AD

240k elix, 1225 DE, 2h cook time with 4 Rage spells, or ~1h with 2xRage 4xHaste.

This works, and 70% is usually not a problem. But it's slow and DE heavy. VERY slow if you have only 1 lvl6 Dark Barrack.

I'm spending more than I'm gaining so far. Time to drop to silver1, I guess

I'm always getting 250K+ elixir and gold and 2K+ dark elixir. Add masters 1 bonus and you get a nice profit as well as gaining trophies.

I don't know what to do. Its so hard to get loot now. I am at 1800 trophies and i normally attack with GiBarch ... My cost is around 180Elixir and i am barely making 150 ... ... I am thinking to drop to silver league too.

You might try loons and minions combinations with three Rage or two rage, i heal and 1 poison spell. Though I dropped from M1 to Crystal 1 to see how things shake out I have had some good success.
